I copied the zip to my device and then unzipped the cab to my storage card. I clicked it and it tried to install and it failed at about 70%. Can you give explicit details?

I have a tilt 2 on ATT just to be clear.

The exe file is in the zip from PPCGeeks. I originally copied the zip and extracted the exe to my Tilt2. Install failed at around 72%. Seeing what peple said about copying the exe to my device, I unzipped the file on my PC and copied it to my phone. Same thing. It ran, then exited around 72%. It would seem that it does not install on the Tilt or Verizon version TP2, but does on the Sprint TP2.

Kind of weird it would install on one GSM phone but not others.

P.S. I also just tried to copy it directly to my device and run the exe from there rather than my storage card. No go.

I came across a website (don't remember where) where a user said it needs .net CF 3.5. I've installed successfully after the .net CF install.

Make sure you have MS Voice Connect installed. Then go to the Voice Connect settings, under the Settings/Personal/Voice Command and UNCHECK Enable.

Install MSVoice and then install the TellMe cab.

However I am having issues with it. I was able to get it to run, but it took a while to translate the first time, but could not send message due to not being able to access the network.

Now, it wont even run. I click on the icon, it opens for a split second, then it closes. Ive uninstalled it, reinstalled, and its the same thing.

I had my wi-fi on, and for some reason, that kept the TellMe from opening and staying open. Very strange.

It still wont connect to the network for whatever reason. I can tell it to text "Me" and it tries to transcribe the message, that is when I get "Cant access mobile network". So some how it is getting blocked. And for some reason, it has to connect to some server to even translate!

this is working fine for me. i first tried the zip. from pcgeek, and that did not work for me then i installed the cab. from this post, and it work good. if you say text bob it will pull up bobs info, and then ask you what to write and then rights it pretty well. say with making calls and searching for something on the net.

only problem is that it isn't touch friendly. you have to use the bottom task icons. you cant touch the middle screen icons.

i have tmobile with stocked rom

I downloaded the attached cab and it installed fine. I only tried one command, and it could not understand. Will try others, but at least it installed.
The only thing it did for me was start to compose a text message but then said it could not contact network...
Other than that it didn't "Catch" anything else..
Looks like I need to work on my pronunciation!!!

Doesn't work for me

I might have missed something here, but I'm sure it doesn't work on my TP2. Weird that the installation was successful and the icon appeared on my start menu, but when I tapped on the icon it brought me back to the home screen.

With my experience, if I have WiFi on it would do that. There was another scenario too that make that happen. If you have ATT, you probably wont be able to connect anyways even if the program opens up. If it opens, I get to start commands but it has to contact a server, and its blocked on ATT for some reason.
