Thanks Buck - looks sharp!

I'm thinking they removed the softkeys for the I9000 as they'd be redundant and take up space - nice to see really!

So you are preferring this over MIUI and CM then?

for sure. It runs as good if not better. To call it bata is not giving it the credit it deserves. Its going to get better I am sure as time goes on.

Thanks buck, I'm definitely wanting to try this install now! Where did you download the v13 glitch kernel? I looked through that thread and couldn't find the link.

The v13 kernel is only for miui not the ics ROM, thought I would clarify that.

what are you currently running?

This is the link though
Glitch-V13-DEV-TelusFascinate+

From the yummiest t959d I have ever seen

I'm still on darkys 10.2.2. With all this talk about ICS, I definitely want to try it, your screenshots got me drooling lol. The reason I asked about v13 was cuz you mentioned earlier that you installed that kernel when you installed the latest beta.

not using the v13 with the bata, it was only to install miui. the v11 in the how to thread does not work.

Maybe I should edit that last post to make it easier to follow.

Ahh gotcha. So then I would just install CM7 from the walkthru you posted, and then carry on with the install of the beta?

I spent hours trying to get this working. Jumping from thread to thread. This should really help. Thank you bucknetbucky for your efforts.

So quick question if you don't mind???

If I'm running MIUI 1.11.25 (didnt like 1.12.xx ver) with Glitch v13 can I jump to Stage 4.0. What prep would you suggest (other than the backups and wipe data/factory, cache and dalvik). This install originated with Froyo 2.2.

I must have done this 3 or 4 times Saturday from Froyo 2.2 but either ended up in the Splash screen loop or Black screen (now wondering if I didn't wait long enough)

It is possible that you needed to wait. The other way is to flash the rom again with the full wipe and wait for it to boot. Some have had to reflash a few times before it came up. I am at work at the moment so anymore issues I will reply when I get home (abut 5:30 EST)
