Hey, is anyone there? I need help with my phone! I tried to reflash it since it was bootlooping so ridiculously, so i opened up odin and filled in all the right parts but i put it in downloading mode but then unplugged my cable and then plugged it back in. Then I started it, it ran the odin but is just sitting at DO NOT TURN OFF THE TARGET!! in odin. I need your help! I hope you guys are awake! Can I unplug it? Should I? Cause its not doing anything right now?

Sorry dude - just seeing this now. Really cannot comment on what is safe or not. I can say I've had similar issues before, and I did unplug - force the phone back into DL (Jig or volume down and plug into phone), and start fresh. Maybe happened once or twice, one time was definitely flashing onecosmic ICS.

WOO! Hello guys! I figured out my stuff! When I had flashed the rom with the kernel, the kernel didn't apply properly so it was still running on the glitch v13 kernel I think. I decided to flash the glitch v14 pre B on top of it and it booted properly and it worked. That night I had turned off my phone and when I booted it in the morning. It bootlooped. So I was desparate and my good friend buckNetBucky helped me do a full reflash. I tried to do a reflash by myself but odin failed and I had to unplug it. Every give buck tons of thanks! Such a nice guy! Thank you for your help friends!

Just threw this on my phone last night. Seems to be running good. The only issue I have found so far is when I enable back button long press kill (kill app by long press back button) it reboots. Anyone else having this problem?

bucknetbucky are you still running these values. If so how have they been?

Thanks
Scott

Working NSTools values for OC and UV

CPU:
Governor = Lazy
Min CPU = 100 (109 after live OC)
Max CPU = 1200 (1308 after live OC)
OC Value = 109%
Deep Idle = On

Custom Voltage

Arm:
1400 = unchanged
1304 = 1375
1200 = 1325
1000 = 1225
800 = 1150
400 = 975
200 = 875
100 = 875

Int Voltage
1400 = Unchanged
1304 = 1150
1200 = 1125
1000 = 1075
800 = 1050
400 = 1025
200 = 1025
100 = 925

Just set these values tonight and so far all is good and no crashes or reboots. See if it helps the battery as the days go by. Give it a shot or post your working values for others to try.

AND NO I NEVER SLEEP :eek:

Yes it is a known issue. A for the values above, yrs and they have been working well. I know a couple others have tried then with no success do play around but do not set the settings to apply on boot.

Boot Looping

Hey guys, Started having some issues with darky's rom so I decided to try upgrading. The issue I was having was that my phone would connect to a wifi network but not be able to use data on it(happened on a variety of networks).

Anyways I tried flashing the 13.1 kernel, which started the boot looping. Unfortunately the 3 button combo wouldn't get me into recovery mode.

Got bored of it boot looping so I used my usbjig and reflashed a darky base so i could restore my phone.

I'm guessing the issue was because I wasn't coming from stock. Does anyone have a link to the stock rom? I kind of just was curious to see if it would work from where I was. Plus I wasn't to sure what voodoo kernel I was supposed to flash with odin.

Wondering if anyone else is experiencing this:

Noticed my battery wasn't doing very well the other day and took a look at the diagnostics. Says my Android OS is draining 35% of the battery, with screen second at 22%. That seems super high to me.
I'm also getting very glitchy lags lately. Haven't downloaded anything new lately so not sure what the issue is but I'm thinking of moving to Onecosmic.

any thoughts? took a look at the surface thread and couldn't see anything similar.

My issues with surface were worse but maybe just try wiping cache and pulling the battery before flashing anew.

I derped up

So I think I figured out why I couldn't get out of the boot loop. I believe its because I didn't start from stock(derp!).

Running any i9000 rom (without a specific t959d kernel) would change the key set for recovery would it not? So my guess is because I was on darkys, when I attempted to do recovery mode it wouldn't work because I wasn't using the hard home button which my phone doesn't have!

Haven't had time to test this theory out, got a lot of studying to do this weekend. I'll post the results after I try flashing from stock...

That makes perfect sense actually - usually that's the issue with those things not working, but was pretty sure I could get into recovery on Darky's with that combo - although tried it the other day (as I was in a boot loop) and it didn't work - I pulled the battery and eventually it fixed itself.

Pulling the battery is always worth a try :)
