Tempered glass, screen protector or neither? Looking for advice.

I've just upgraded from my first Android, a chunky and sturdy Samsung Mini 2, to Zuk Z1. Needless to say, I'm super-hyper-worried to scratch its screen. Tbh I don't like the cons of using a protection (less responsive touch? more oily screen?), but from what I've read it's not clear whether Zuk Z1 has Gorilla Glass. Although I'm a careful person, would you advise I buy a protection? If so should I choose a normal screen protector or tempered glass? Thanks in advance :)

Tempered glass for sure. I'm using those since 2 devices and they feel the same like the original glas.
And they are easy to apply

I bought my zuk z1 in India and seems like a tempered glass was preappllied. It's already there, factory fitted. Can you check to see if you already have one on?

Tempered glasses are scam. I have one on ZUK Z1. Slight bump and its already chipped. Various sites on the net prove that Tempered glasses do not help much with drops. Its just about scratches. IF you can, get one with oleophobic coating. The normal ones its annoying to remove the oil stains.

I'm using this one since 4 months and it's great in combination with bumper on backside:

It's very easy to apply cause it's like a glass plate to lay on the display. The fingerprints are not as easy to wipe off like without the glass protector, but the reaction is as good as without, so better with protection [emoji106]

Sent from my Z1 using my hand

No, there's no tempered glass already pre-applied as you'd be able to see it next to home button aswell, not only by earphone. It's gorilla glass just poorly applied.

I recommend tempered glass as there's no 'plastic' feeling when using screen and it feels exactly same as original glass. Also if phone falls from non-extreme height there's big chance tempered glass will crack instead of screen.
