I searched everywhere and even contacted a couple companies with no luck. Everyone says the demand isn't high enough for them to profit :(

I found a couple from china via aliexpress.com.

They aren't horribly expensive, but 15-25 day delivery to the US. I ordered a pair yesterday, so maybe I'll have 'em by xmas :)

Anyways, thought I would share in case anyone else found it useful.

bought from aliexpress.com. from the seller who ships out in 3 days. got it today (took just over a week) . it was well packaged but "'v500" was hand written on the box.

I opened the package to find a alcohol wipe, cloth, sticker and the "glass" ... it actually seems more like a thick plastic than glass though.

it was hard to tell that it had the film on the side that gets applied to the tab glass. but it was there. one oval cutout for the front camera and light sensor.
the dimensions are spot on. really good fit. feels much batter than the plastic film I had before. not sure how long it'll last but so far seems like it's worth the $17.xx.
