Strange... How you get glass to mix with plastic?
I have a tempered glass sp on my G3 and the first one in installed broke, it seems to be glass with a thin layer of plastic incorporated to prevent shards from detaching when/if it breaks. Can't speak for this one in particular, but wouldn't be surprised if it was the same.

I have the one listed on amazon. It is a very good protector and does not cause any problem with the touch screen. In addition it does not interfere with the Jelly case that I am using so for me it works really well.

Got mine just before christmas, over a month i waited, not impressed with delivery.
BUT the actual item fits perfectly, thou a few bubbles on one originally, took my time removing protector so not to crack it.
Came in nice thick sturdy case like other shown in this thread, well protected with wipes etc.
Installed on both my lads gpads and spot on.
My boys love these lg's compared to samsung.
Well chuffed with item.

Best pic i can get lol

For years I've tried to get those thin plastic ones to work, and I could never get them on the screen without bubbles. With the tempered glass ones, they go on so smooth and perfect (I've done 3 phones so far and each was super easy, just now ordering for my G Pad 8.3 which just came yesterday). I won't bother to let you know how easy it was and how bubble free it was. Although, If for some reason it's harder than installing on phones I'll let you know.
