I m about to go with sikai protector too. Let's just hope it's good enough and not too glary, since having it shipped here I'm Europe is much more costly if compared to the prices you were talking about (12€) and I'd like it not to end up in the trash too soon :)
Most important question: the sikai product images show a Lg g watch r with an awesome metal band coloured back that seems to match its color perfectly. Any info about it? Brand, price...? I definitely would like to buy it!!
Cheers!!

Those of you who went with Link Dream, any images and thoughts?

On amazon some people replied to the same Q about quality, reflections and fingerprints and all 3 of them raved about it so I was tempted but maybe I will play it safe. :)

I have a black PVD-coated band from Eichmüller
the color isn't an absolutely perfect match to the watch body, but it's very close and the PVD coating is holding up nicely
and if you are from Europe, you should be able to get it off ebay quite easily

Wrong thread ;)
Well, in truth it's the correct thread! I asked about the watch band seen in the sikai tempered glass commercials, and he answered pointing me in the right direction! [emoji14] amazing site and bands, unfortunately I'm not too keen with German language and am having a little difficulties in understanding the page.. Will need to call a friend maybe!
Cheers!

I also can't see a easy way to remove it without possibly damaging the screen bellow.
Maybe it's easy.. But it could be hard.. Really hard, it just depends on the glue effect.

Can you please tell the name and link for that watch face?
I love it.

Thanks

Mine just arrived today. Already installed and stuff:

So far it came with a cool looking tin can with a plastic window on top (covered with a sticker), alcohol wipe, microfiber cloth, stickers to get rid of the dust and to guide the protector on, and, surprisingly, a cheap stylus and a few useless stuff for free.

The cut is extremely exact to a point where I have no idea how I would remove it. So my recommendation is the make sure you properly clean the surface and use the stickers to get rid of any dust cause once it's on it'll be extremely difficult to remove.

Once it's on, it adhere to the screen leaving no bubbles. The feel is nice about as smooth as a typical tempered glass screen protectors for phones. The sensitivity isn't affected, as sensitive as the actual screen.

One thing I like about it is that it gives the screen a little height so it makes the screen a bit more flush with the bezels. It definitely looks as if there is no protector on the screen.

I attached some pictures of what came in the package and how it looks on the watch. Don't mind the Skinomi body skin around the watch.

I just bought the one from the OP (the one that comes in the tin can), got two of them and it looks really nice. I was afraid it was going to stand out but it looks pretty much like it was not there aside from the borders of course but I feel good with it even though the "scratches" for me are always on the bezel area. Still need to pick up a touch up pen that has a glossy finish as the flat one I bought just does not blend well.

I got one to out on my replacement watch and I'm reluctant in doing so. I tried to get it out of the original watch but was unable to do so. How do you guys do it without using a pin or something that would damage the screen?

Took a hard hit and the screen protector worked perfectly

It finally happened. I was walking and banged my wrist on a metal part of a door. The screen on my LG G Watch R went right into the metal. The screen was cracked. I was worried, but then remembered I had a tempered glass screen protector on. So the worry changed to relief, and then back to worry, how to remove it :) .

I was able to finally remove it, with a hair dryer and Mighty Putty :cowboy: . I put some Mighty Putty on the screen protector, with the hook of a coat hanger in the Mighty Putty blob that I placed on the screen protector. I waited a couple days, for the Might Putty to harden really well. (Of course, I made sure the Might Putty didn't touch the edges at all.) Then, I used a hair dryer at high setting on the watch face for about 30 seconds. And pulled on the coat hanger. The screen protector came off very easily, I didn't have to pull hard at all.

I probably didn't need to use the Mighty Putty. The hair dryer with the suction cup that came with the screen protector probably would have suffice. But the key is to use a hair dryer, to loosen up the sticky on the screen protector.

Once I got the screen protector off that had a big crack in it. The watch face underneath was in perfect condition. I was able to apply my "backup" screen protector, since I purchased 2. And all is well.
