Hi guys!
I have been trying to tweak my Desire to get better performance, since its had a tendency to lag a bit.
Now im curious how much power it is possible get from this magnificent phone.
So whats your score on AnTuTu Benchmark test? Download AnTuTu here

What can I expect to score if I get a SDcard with better transfer-rate ?
CPU is set to 1190MHz.
Running ICS[4.0.4] BCM RC3.1U0
Kernel: 2.6.38.8-tiamat-ics-031412+

Here is my score from the test:

*edit* new test, tried to increase the cashe-size fro 512 to 1024. SD speedIncreaseor SD Booster should get more points.
Increased score from 2680 points.

Anyone better?
:)

Rom: Nick's Rom (most recent update)
Kernel: 2.6.35.14_r3-stable [email protected] #1
SD Card: Kingston Class 4 8GB
Clock Speed: 1113mhz

The highest score I've had was 2689. The lowest which is at stock and same rom is 2381.

Nice write/read- speed on your 10class SD-card. Now I regret ordering a class 6 card. Cool to see how a rom that I have perform. It seems like the BCM-3.1U0 have good performance compared to older android-versions.

Do you have problem with the phone turning off when running that high cpu (1228MHz)? Mine turn off when its higher than 1190MHz.

best regards

Would be interesting see performance test with ICS for Desire from Sandvold and compared 3D graphics performance with android 2.3 and BCM 4.0.4. By the way I believe that should be similar, because they have the same base.
If someone is using Sandvold's ROM please post results.

When I run the test my Class 10 32GB Lexar only gets 2.2MB/s.
This is with MildWild 3.5 Oxygen build and Thalamus R4 kernel, which should include a Samsung fix for low SD transfer speeds. :(

Anyone have a clue to why this is happening?

uldisin: nice score. what other tweaks do you have? and what kind of class and brand is your memory card?

I agree it would be interesting to see how Sandvolds rom is performing on this test.

Here is my updated score with my new class 6 SanDisk. Alot better read and write speed.

A-DATA 16GB Class 10.

I disassamble my phone due to random shutdowns and other fails, cleared all parts with alchohol, and upgraded CPU cooling with nickel plate and thermo grease :D , now i can use 1228Mhz daily, i just need add 50mv to overclock more :D

Nice upgrade with the nickle plate and thermo grease:D Do you drain alot of battery? I think you could get more points with the BCM rom. I got 2998 now in score after tweaking some more of the performance-options. Would be nice to pass the Nexus S in score on the bar-chart :D

I charge battery every night, use online radio 1hour a day, emails and calls , 3G and data enabled all day. In evning i have 40-60% battery left, on 20% my phone turns off. I use preformance governor and 1228Mhz freqvency all the time.

IMHO battery lasts longer with one specific CPU freq, because the change of freq taks some power .. :D
