I have the 720t spark version and most roms work for my phone. I'm currently running SuperS4. The spark feature is still there on most roms but the Spark icon is just missing since the rom was not developed with the spark icon in mind. Although the newest SuperS4 does have the spark icon.

Scotty what rom and recovery were u running before u went to super s4. I have NC6 now and when I tried to load super s4 rom it failed on some permission errors.

Sokp stable and hotspot works. Digital roaming is just a bug in many roms. Does not effect speed. Changing carrier name gets r8d of it. Doesnt matter our phones are spark at all. Im not in a spark area but have se3n tons of posts confirming spark speeds in various asop 4oms. Ive ran sokp mostly for my daily and my connection to lte is perfect. Rarely drops to 3g when i get in elevator. T9ggle airplane m9de restores 8t. Never drop calls or have any unexplained connection issues. Im on latest firmware and prls and st7ff were updated a month ago

Wow, these are the first reports I've seen if B26 and B41 working on an AOSP rom. I'd love to see some screenshots of the speedtest over 37.5mbs and SignalCheck showing connectivity info.

I've personally tested the following ROMs and they all work. These are all the latest 4.4.4 unified builds.

BeanStalk ROM
SlimKat ROM
PacMan ROM
Mahdi ROM (says digital roaming instead if sprint but works perfectly)

I've also tried several other unified builds but don't remember all if them. I'm my experience I've had no problems with the 720t other than a few ROMs saying their roaming instead of the actual sprint network.

But if I could recommend a ROM I would highly recommend BeanStalk ROM. It's completely stable and has just about every possible customization baked right into the ROM including xposed installer. If your one who just keeps the ROM stock or only likes to customize a little than SlimKat is always a rock solid ROM with exceptional support and almost perfect code. The dev is quite a programmer his code is spotless and SlimRoms has several of their own flashable mods and add-ons. SlimRoms also has their own website with all their firmware and software available for download.

The new Sacs rom works great for this phone too. Just flashed it this morning and it's fast and stable so far.

I have a Sprint Samsung Galaxy S4. Rooted. TWRP
But my build number differs from any I have seen. Heres my Specs.

S/W Version : L720TVPUBNC6
H/W Version: L720T.03
Model #: SPH-L720T
Android Version: 4.4.2
Baseband Version: L720TVPUBNC6
Kernel Version: 3.4.0-492378
[email protected] #1
Build #: KOT49H.L720TVPUBNC6

Trying to install a custom rom. Not sure which ones I could use.
Would also like to get around the native wifi tethering/ hotspot block.
Any help is appreciated!

Sacs newest rom, SuperS4, Negalite, C-Rom and most cm11 based roms should work just fine for you.

Do you have to flash the modems for the 720t. Prior to flashing these roms? If so can someone link me to the modems and firmware for the 720t? Thanks
