Tethering & Portable Hotspot Settings

Hi! Did Motorola just disable this in Settings or does Settings.apk have to be recompiled to include this feature?

ya, it seems motorola modified settings.apk

Yes, I know about that. just wondering if we can enable the one that's built into Android...

Would you happen to know how to re-enable it?

I'm thinking it's a setting in /data/data/com.android.providers.settings/ but I don't know what line to add to the database.

I've searched the whole Android Developers Guide but couldn't find anything...

In Barnacle, did you tick the checkbox that says something like bypass WPA Supplicant?

In 3G Mobile Hotpsot, do you receive an error message of some kind?
