Text messaging messed up

My sister in law is using a 100% stock Eris and its giving her some issues. She's 10hrs away so I can't really get hands on. I was wondering if one of the bright minds her might have a solution b4 I call Verizon.

The issue is she will text "Jim" but "Lisa" will receive it. My wife has received various txt messages from her that were intended for somebody else. Any insight? Or should I just call big red?

If it's stock then I would definitly call Verizon. Thats about the strangest thing I've heard of on here lol.

Figured as much. Was hoping there would be a quick fix. Thanks though. Hopefully they send me (I mean her ) a droid 2 lol

Heh, good luck with that. I don't think she'll get a Droid 2. IF they send her a different phone, it will likely be an Incredible, which is an awesome phone compared to the Eris. They'll only send her a different phone if they run out of Eris's though, or maybe if you yell at them long enough
