Texted photos are grainy

I've tried 3 different texting apps and they all have the same issue. The photo quality is worse than 1995. When I use WhatsApp or FB Messenger the photos are fine. It's just an MMS issue.

Any ideas?

Try textra. I don't get that problem with it. It also has size settings.

Awesome! I know just what the OP is talking about. Going to fish about to see what other options exist instead of Textra, just because, this is Android, after all...

Been using Textra ever since this thread. Problem solved. Textra rocks and I no longer send people pictures that look like Minecraft worlds.

I have been using Textra, actually. Not my first time using it. It's quite convenient, too.
