I have upgraded to 20.10.2022 version can i replace the blue tooth player with the Poweramp player?

Can't work out how to do it.

The description of the new firmware (Oct. 22) states that the main interface music widget now supports multiple music players. i.a. power amp
To do this, you have to press the cloud icon (HU must be online) in the music app longer and then you get to a sub-menu where you can select the appropriate player.
So far so good, unfortunately this does not change the wiget on the main screen, at least not for me. Also, I'm not sure if all the Poweramp settings are effective?
I hope that helps a bit.

So far so good, unfortunately this does not change the wiget on the main screen, at least not for me. Also, I'm not sure if all the Poweramp settings are effective?

I tried that but it doesn't work........

It worked for me with poweramp, image shows properly on the widget, but pressing the buttons will go back to the regular player though, side effect ( bad one) from last update was that waze searched addresses wont work anymore... thats a pain

I didnt do anything at all, i just go to power amp and do play when i i go back home the right image is on the widget tbh... have the payed version not sure that makes a difference

I have the CC3 and i can't work out how to do Bluetooth tethering with my phone to use my phone internet on the CC3.

On the phone Samung 8+ i went: Setttings - Connections - Mobile Hotspot and Tethering - turned on Bluetooth tethering.

Hi all,
Is there any patch that can actually make the temp display change to Fahrenheit on CC3? I tried to change it to F, but the exterior temp display still showed in C. It doesn’t work for me. Thank you in advance!

- How can I set an app to auto start after the device bootup? I have install app traccar and it not auto run
- How to auto turn on the wifi hotspot of the Head Unit?

Yes I've been having this issue too. Trying to find out if there's a setting in Google Maps for day/night mode, thought there was one. Just tonight I was using maps, and when I switched my headlights on, the map didn't change to dark mode. I had to make a stop and shut my car off for a few minutes, then when I got back and started up it was in dark mode, so I was thinking maybe it was based on sunrise/sunset times changing automatically rather than using my illumination signal from the headlights being on. I'll try to remember to report back if I find out any more.
this has been a common reported issue and several cars that have come in have had this too, however the latest firmware seems to have resolved this issue

there is an update coming only situations where OEM canbus supports external temp data, it will be displayed on the CC3 by enabling a setting.
Other displays for a/c temp controls that are in C but not F will later be supported by fixing the C/F switch
There is no ETA yet for this fix, as a lot of development for the CC3 and others will soon be released

Hi all, I have had my t'eyes CC3 for two weeks and I removed the head unit to check why my steering wheel inputs are not working and now I have a problem where it won't turn on unless I push and hold the 'rst' button, and then it either shows a dead android with 'no command' text, or it will boot up but the touch screen won't work. And if I release the 'rst' button it will turn off again.

Is anybody able to help?
Jenmud what you describe is a symptom of the G3 Pin - 12VDC Accessories missing 12VDC

Turned out to be the canbus box. I received a new one and all started working.
Great it is resolved! So assuming the canbus module in this instance is meant to command 12VDC output to G3 12VDC accessories input, a faulty canbus would do this

Other possible scenarios is where an incorrect canbus is supplied or the pins for main G1 supply to canbus is misaligned. So it’s always good to work back from G3 to determine where the fault is.

For vehicles with no canbus that experience the same fault, most often is a G3 12VDC input being misaligned from the OEM side to the supplied harness.

Sometimes when installing without disconnecting the battery, the vehicles accessories fuse blows when performing the install and causes the same fault.

You probably know all this so will leave this for the sake of others that may find this information handy.

No updates till after work on cc3 version with a 2000 * 1200 screen has finished, so do not hold your breath.

    The green square problem is a bug in the new firmware.
    Not sure about the red square problem. I thought there was a setting in older firmware for this. (edit) Old firmware set in general - back-light control.
    Problem is you cannot roll back to previous software so any bugs like this, we as users get stuck with. Just another bad decision by Teyes to lock down their firmware and not give a stuff about their users.
    In settings, the button backlight on my unit had reverted to "time based" instead of linked to headlight control. Changed this and that issue was fixed. Had not noticed this at first.

    Hmm very interesting. I have not. And how would I know which wire this is? and where does it connect to? This might indeed be the issue.
    This has been posted about so many times.

    Sellers sell with poor quality control and buyers self install, get into trouble then quick to post.

    If unable to make basic checks, suggest consulting reputable local installer.

    I am very disappointed with teyes service, my teyes headunit has stopped at the logo even though it has not been a year of use, I have contacted a lot of customer service, but to no avail, so I will not buy teyes products for the second time

    But now the side buttons don't light up (Red Square) and also how do i add apps the the Application section (Green Square).

    The green square problem is a bug in the new firmware.
    Not sure about the red square problem. I thought there was a setting in older firmware for this. (edit) Old firmware set in general - back-light control.

    Hi! Apologies I probably explained it wrong. I purchsed it from the official Teyes website but I just thought it would be Teyes Australia.
    Teyes Australia can only support purchases made through the Australian site (they are separate businesses).

    Have you confirmed the ACC wire is connected? You can have 12V to the head unit but it needs the ACC (Ignition) wire connected to trigger the unit to turn on when the car is turned on.
    The ACC wire is usually red.

    The OP had a discussion with us and it was decided that he will not be permitted to sell here but offer technical support only. So anything connected to prices, comparisons with other units/manufacturers etc will be outside the understanding.

    Guys, why don't we take him at face value and see whether he is offering support or not? I agree that the reputation of resellers has taken a beating but why don't we give him a chance? Even if he is able to resolve some issues of atleast some users, his being on XDA would be justified.

    I hope you all understand that it was in the interest of the users that it was decided to permit him to operate here.

    I'm an Australian buyer who has just purchased and received a CC3 through Teyes Australia. I sent Dan from Teyes Australia numerous emails with questions and he always answered within hours. I never expected that he would stock in Australia the thousands of possible wiring and facia kits. His contact details and phone number are all over the Teyes Aus website.

    One of the main concerns I had was the facia for my 2017 Kia Soul. There are two available and the one for the Australian spec Soul showed two extra cutouts that I didn't need. He was straight onto the supplier/warehouse in China to check the stock and had a photo of my facia back that very evening. It was perfect.

    There are two possible radios in the series 2 Soul and two possible wiring plugs. The kit was delivered with both possible plugs which made basic install really easy.

    I am going to chase Dan up with a couple of improvement requests. I hope that with his contacts back in China that he might be able to get a result.
    - the ability to export video files from the dashcam DVR to the hard drive or a USB stick
    - how do I get Australian radio icons added to the radio unit. It appears to be based on gps coordinates. Do I specify Sydney NSW, or my specific outer suburb location. ?

    My overall impression of Dan from Teyes is 5 out of 5. The local logistics company they use only gets a 2 out of 5. It sat in limbo in Australia for nearly 2 weeks before being delivered. Their website said they attempted delivery once but I was home all day and they didn't. When it finally turned up it was in a small sedan hatch packed to the roof with boxes. Not at all professional.

    My thoughts on the CC3 ? It is excellent. It looks fantastic in my Soul and a vast improvement. Everything works well. I modified the wiring to use my existing 6 volt rear view camera but the resolution looks pretty [email protected] on the high res screen. My next project might be to retrofit the new camera to the existing moulding in the rear hatch.
