I'm wondering the same. I'm getting a bit of static, its working ok but it flickers. Might not be enough volts?
Also reverse tracking which my kia supports is not working which is real annoying. Not sure how to get past that.
I'm currently using socket F pin 7 +12v (negative is provided through the RCA plug) to power the standard TEYES AHD 1080p rear view camera with no problems but i'm reluctant to recommend it incase theres a reason we shouldn't.
I'm assuming its a sufficiently regulated/filtered 12v output unlike the CANbus adapter ACC signal wire.
Theres a "Reverse Power Supply" switch in Factory settings that toggles 12v always on/reverse only on pin F7 so its clearly intended to be used by whoever manufactures these headunits but i'd like to hear what TEYES Australia thinks about it as thats who i purchased it from.
Reverse tracking lines are provided by the vehicles computer via the CAN bus adapter which is configured:
-In TEYES app install MS.apk, Update.apk US.apk, Canbus.apk
-Then go to Headunits "Settings>Car Model>Enter Canbus" & select your correct CAN Bus & car adapter settings.
Find the name of your CANbus adapter manufacturer on the box itself(hopefully, mine is HIWORLD)
your camera could possibly be drawing too much power from your vehicle CANbus adapter ACC line to handle causing it to malfunction/fail, it was never intended for directly powering accessories only signalling on/off to the head unit ACC line by itself
