hey everyone I just installed CC3 2K in my Tucson 2017 and I have some questions, I will be grateful if anyone can answer them.
1- youtube only play videos in 1080p even though the screen supports 2k
What resolution are you expecting?
Your 2k screen is 2000 x 1200
YouTube is playing 1080p, which is 1920 x 1080.
It's using the highest resolution possible on YouTube. The next step up is 1440p which your screen does not support.

2- the developer option has a password does anyone know what it is.
Try 168, failing that try 3368

3- the time on the top right corner is not correct even though I had it changed from settings.
The time syncs from GPS or the internet. It's a waste of time setting the time manually as it will reset every time the unit restarts.

Come back with another problem. CC3 2k, installed on a Duster 2020. As seen in the film, it displays all the parameters on the screen - cameras, the satellite on the steering wheel, the door open, AC info. After two weeks, it suddenly no longer displays the door open/closed and no AC info. The rest works normally - cameras, the command satellite. I didn't play with the settings, I didn't install anything. What to do?

When mine did this i had to firmly push all the head unit & CAN BUS wires in securely, then wipe/flash the latest firmware to get it to detect correctly during installation everything works again since that.

Hopefully yours just needs a wipe/flash to correct it

Maybe someone can help. I have cc3 in a 13 FJ Cruiser. My phone is connected via Bluetooth and automatically answers after just a ring, or two. Is it possible to disable the automatic pickup? Sometimes I just can't answer the phone and want it to go to voicemail. I haven't found anything on the website. By the way the automatic pick on the phone is disabled and this does not happen with any of my other phone enabled Bluetooth devices.

Thanks for any help.

Open the bluetooth app....the auto answer option should be located on the same page that shows the pairing password and where you can assign ringtone....you should see the auto answer option toggled on, turn it off

Many Teyes apps don't work on non Teyes head units.
It would not surprise me if some of their accessories only work with their own apps meaning they can't be used on other brand head units.

Some of their accessories are also just rebranded generic junk, but cost much more than the generic version because it says "Teyes" on it.

What should the menu option for screen resolution be saying for CC3 2K 360.
After firmware update mine says 1024 x 600 And resolution looks lower?

I just installed a CC3 2k. I have noticed that there is a very noticeable white noise / hiss coming from the speakers when nothing is playing or unit has 0 volume, this begins at boot time. This makes it very annoying when listening to music at very low volume since it sounds distorted. I have rechecked wiring and everything is fine on my end.

I have also noticed that Settings --> Device --> Sound --> Keypad Tone (ON) --> Keypad Tone (OFF) (there is a beep) temporarily fixes this issue for some time. Which makes me believe that this is a possible software/firmware issue. I have a feeling that there is a built in app that is transmitting that noise. When keypad tone beeps it interrupts/pauses the noise, but then later on it restarts. I believe it might be the related to the music player or Bluetooth player.

(I will try to post a video later)

I bought the 360 version and I haven’t installed the 360 cameras. (Debating whether I want to cut holes in the mirrors as if the unit fails etc…) and it loads the 360 view when I put the vehicle in reverse.
As it should I guess but I just get a car with a black screen.
I have connected the OEM reverse cam input to the "F" Port via the harness.
Vehicle is a 2018 Toyota Prado

I was hoping to just use the Oem reverse camera until I decided, essentially use the cc3 2k 360 as a cc3 2k.
As the 360 version is hardware dependent I bough that unit.

Does anyone know a way to set the reverse camera choice on the 360 unit, or change the default software?

My reverse camera has stopped working after 9 months... Connections are all OK but just get blank screen with guidelines when in reverse.

Any suggestions and is there any chance of replacement under warranty?

I had the same issue. Were you using it in the home screen as a reverse view? Heard this burns it out. Coworker have me an extra one but still haven't installed.

Don’t use the OEM reverse if you have the 360. Use the 360 reverse camera and it will work as I did the same to start with

Yep just been in touch with TEYES support and they said that the 360 software will only support the 360 cameras.
But they have said that its possible to flash the CC3 2K 360 with the ordinary CC3 2K software and it will function as a standard CC3 and the OEM camera will work via the F port.

Apparently It's possible to reverse flash the 360.

My concern is the longevity of the cameras/unit etc... Before I take a holesaw to my $70k vehicle. (I know I can just buy the mirror covers to fix it)

    I bought a TEYES CC2 (UIS7862A) for my Renault Clio 4 and so far there are many reasons to be disappointed. This is the top 3:

    1. Podcasts don't pause when the navigation is speaking. AntennaPod and Google Maps usually play well together, so my assumption is that T'eyes is interrupting the usual behavior to force audio ducking. This is really bad. :/

    2. The two parts of the shell do not fit together. This means that there is a very wide gap on the left side that does not close. How can you sell this without warning?

    3. Many modifications here seem to explicitly exclude T'eyes.

    Especially the first point annoys me *every single time* I am driving with navigation. Can you help me?

    The OP had a discussion with us and it was decided that he will not be permitted to sell here but offer technical support only. So anything connected to prices, comparisons with other units/manufacturers etc will be outside the understanding.

    Guys, why don't we take him at face value and see whether he is offering support or not? I agree that the reputation of resellers has taken a beating but why don't we give him a chance? Even if he is able to resolve some issues of atleast some users, his being on XDA would be justified.

    I hope you all understand that it was in the interest of the users that it was decided to permit him to operate here.

    I'm an Australian buyer who has just purchased and received a CC3 through Teyes Australia. I sent Dan from Teyes Australia numerous emails with questions and he always answered within hours. I never expected that he would stock in Australia the thousands of possible wiring and facia kits. His contact details and phone number are all over the Teyes Aus website.

    One of the main concerns I had was the facia for my 2017 Kia Soul. There are two available and the one for the Australian spec Soul showed two extra cutouts that I didn't need. He was straight onto the supplier/warehouse in China to check the stock and had a photo of my facia back that very evening. It was perfect.

    There are two possible radios in the series 2 Soul and two possible wiring plugs. The kit was delivered with both possible plugs which made basic install really easy.

    I am going to chase Dan up with a couple of improvement requests. I hope that with his contacts back in China that he might be able to get a result.
    - the ability to export video files from the dashcam DVR to the hard drive or a USB stick
    - how do I get Australian radio icons added to the radio unit. It appears to be based on gps coordinates. Do I specify Sydney NSW, or my specific outer suburb location. ?

    My overall impression of Dan from Teyes is 5 out of 5. The local logistics company they use only gets a 2 out of 5. It sat in limbo in Australia for nearly 2 weeks before being delivered. Their website said they attempted delivery once but I was home all day and they didn't. When it finally turned up it was in a small sedan hatch packed to the roof with boxes. Not at all professional.

    My thoughts on the CC3 ? It is excellent. It looks fantastic in my Soul and a vast improvement. Everything works well. I modified the wiring to use my existing 6 volt rear view camera but the resolution looks pretty sh@t on the high res screen. My next project might be to retrofit the new camera to the existing moulding in the rear hatch.
