Teyes is quite popular in Russia and Malaysia .

Here is a short review of a Russian guy from Sound Life with the unboxing...

Notice that there is also a CC2 plus and a Spro plus, that have more or less the same specifications.
The Teyes CC2 plus and Spro plus, does not have the extra ADAU1701 DSP and no gyroscope..

Well, really interesting.
Did you get any answers from vendor?
Their website is in russian language only and no translators can be used as all text is hard written into verifica l graphics.
Buy how to fit it in a standard 7" 2 DIN hole?

There is no difference between CC3 and CC2+/SPRO+ besides the board layout and the added ADI 1701 DSP in addition to the existing ROHM32107. Also has a proper control for controlling the fan. The others you had to enable the amplifier to power it on. All this information can be found on 4PDA.

no, but technically yes. Teyes has taken a new approach to DRM and have encrypted their app resources in .ogg containers. To decrypt them, it uses a key stored somewhere on the device, probably in a persistent partition, as a seed to generate the proper keys to unpack the .ogg. A member on 4PDA has already done this using partition dumps from another member's CC3 unit and has managed to decrypt all the apps. He has made a custom firmware with the apps already prepacked with decrypted resources and has some private testers. They all say it works for them minus some bugs which is also present in the original CC3 unit. It is claimed that the firmware was going to be released to the general public on 11/11/20 (today), but it's since been moved to "eventually". The only way to get the firmware now is by paying the guy. It's a shame that a community effort gets thrown behind a paywall.

Ok the difference in price between CC2+ and CC3 is 50 euro (buying the modified firmware will be even less), if i want to buy one or the other unit I'll definitively go straight for CC3.
Not cheap but it seem very attractive.

I know 4PDA, but as you know, its all in Russian, not a language that everybody speak.
Here on XDA its English which the whole world understand.

I thought that they said on 4PDA,that the CC3 also has a Gyroscope, can you confirm that?
Google translate translate Russian into Dutch, but sometimes translate the sentences or words on an odd way.

Ah yeah, forgot about the gyroscope, but its only purpose is for the TeyesVision app. Its what makes the car model shift to the left/right. It's just a gimmick.

It might also work with Maps when gps signal is absent.
Buy the way, does Maps run smoothly or is it crappy like on any other Chinese unit?

I don't own one of those devices so I cant comment regarding that. I would assume it does since the CPU is supposedly faster. I dont think the gyroscope would work anywhere else except TeyesVision since the gyroscope is accessed via an APK, so I'm assuming the gyroscope is not using native android libraries and its probably some closed source proprietary interface.

Should receive my unit by Dec. I will give my impression as soon as I install. Hopefully we can get someone who already received theirs to chime in.

    I just got a TEYES CC3 2K.

I have been reading several posts here on cda and elsewhere on the net.

But I can't seem to find out if it is possible or not to pair a bluetooth OBD2 with the Teyes head-unit.

If I try to pair it via the bluetooth app, the app finds the OBD2 but when I try to pair it it just says pairing/connection and never asks for a pin - and after some time is just says can't connect.

I read somewhere that you can only use Teyes' OBD2 with Teyes head-unit?
Is this true? Are there any tweaks or tricks that can "fix" this?
what's up bro.. you can.. you just have to flash you system with the teyes firmware and change the Bluetooth type in the config file included in thebfirmware file before you do so.. search this thread

Same. I suppose I will attempt to splice RCAs... I'm just confused why for all the miles of harness cabling that came with the unit, why there's not a pre-wired solution for this car model. Surely it's not uncommon..?

Here are a couple pictures. The "diagrams" I made make sense to me but not sure if they do to anyone else lol. I was just trying to label everything to make sure I cut the right wires

I also attached a picture of the 8 wires that I cut. Do not cut where the dots are in the picture, you want plenty of slack for soldering. Before they are cut, All of the marked wires should be going into the connector G on the teyes(G9 through G16 to be exact)

Cutting them then connecting to your RCA harness instead bypasses the built in amp of the cc3. Hope this all makes sense lol.

You are by far the most helpful person I've found when it comes to this setup. What other resources have you found that have been helpful? I find that it's such a specific-to-the-vehicle situation that it's hard to find anyone who has the same kind of setup.
Haha I literally got mine all working a day before you asked your questions. So it's all fresh. I have a huge bookmarks folder of links from researching how to fix it. I'm going to try to get the backup camera working this weekend.

I posted a thread a couple of weeks ago about poor radio reception, both AM and FM, on a CC3 in a Toyota FJ Cruiser. I cleaned and reseated the antenna lead at the CC3 and the base of the antenna. That did not help. I grounded the engine hood to the chassis. Since the hood of the car is the "ground plane" in the antenna system it needs to be well grounded. All it took was a braided copper jumper from the hood bolts to a chassis ground. This worked wonders for the FM reception but did not help the AM side to any degree. The AM still goes away about 40 miles out of town. FM reception is now excellent, better than the factory radio. I had a similar thing happen on another car where the hood was replaced in a body shop and the radio had a lot of static. This is what happens when turn 68yo. You've learned a few lessons over time, you just can't remember them immediately. If I could just figure out how to improve the AM I will be set. Still looking for ideas.

Teyes announced another CC3 update for April 2021, here is the translated changelog.

The following important updates are expected to be released for the CC3 software at the end of April.
The new version will add the following features:

1.Added Cam REC software. With this application, you can record from a rear view camera. The recording files are saved to a flash card.

2.Added TEYES YAHU, the world's first 3D music player for the automotive industry (due to technical complexity, work may not be completed in April).

3.In the device settings, a function has been added to change the screen brightness depending on the time of sunrise and sunset.

4.The system version has been updated. Fixed the issue of crashing the Google Play app in some areas.

5.Added setting for the sensitivity level of voice commands. If you feel that certain keywords easily trigger voice commands, you can lower the sensitivity level. In addition to Russian and English, a voice control function has been added for 7 countries.

6.Added CAR LINK software which supports Android Auto via wired connection and Car Play via wired and wireless connection. Please note that CARPLAY only supports this feature on CC3 devices released in 2021. Android Auto has no limits. For CARPLAY wired connection, you must use the original iPhone USB cable. When using CARPLAY wirelessly, make sure the mobile phone is connected via Bluetooth.

7.Updated EQ software and added a phase switch. The volume and sound effects of the subwoofer change according to the volume of the head unit.

8.Added a new layout for the main screen, as well as automatic switching between day and night modes. From the home screen, you can directly speed dial, view driving data, compass and GPS information. The 4 main music players can be switched with one key. Redesigned and increased image size when viewed in picture-in-picture mode.

9Optimized software for making Bluetooth phone calls. Added a choice of avatars in favorite contacts. Opened data synchronization with the main interface.

10.Added TEYES RADIO and private internet station. Musical compositions can be downloaded and shared through the site mp3.teyes.ru

11.Steering Wheel Key Customization Tutorial has been added for multiple languages.

12.Added automatic OTA update function. In the future, we will provide 2 update methods: manual download update and automatic update.

13.Added multi-finger touch control function. To find out how to use this feature, please see the personal settings section.

14.Added the ability to slide the application menu to the right side of the screen. Swiping from below returns to the previous level. The function is supported no matter which interface you are in!

There is no need to remove anything or damage the board. Unclip the plastic cover from the rear side of the screen, unclip the ribbon cable from the board and put a small piece of Sellotape over the two end pins on the right of the cable as you look at it. This way you can easily remove the tape if you change your mind. You need good eyes or a magnifying glass!

Hi. earlier you said taht you dont't recommend buying Teyes for people outside Russia and now, that Teyes focuses on European region. What about other countries from Europe other than Russia? I'm from Poland and I own Ford Focus mk 3 (2011-1015)
I am in France, and my CC3 gives me complete satisfaction on my Ford Focus 2. I do not see what the restrictions would be due to the development by the Russians
