The Teyes unit I bought from their site is specifically made for my car, meant to replace the specific OEM head unit I had.
It came with a new bezel, CANBUS box, and wiring harnesses specifically made for my car. It's supposed to be plug-and-play. I have a similar non-Teyes unit (exact same design, but the back end is more shallow) and it fits fine.
So when it doesn't fit my car as advertised, yes, they are responsible. It's not a cable management issue, there is more than enough room to route stuff, it's just an issue with the design of the head unit. I sent them pics and videos.
