Guys, after A LOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT of time, dissasembling the rear gate and assembling (more than 4 times), I finally got my reverse camera to work (both, while driving and while reversing)...BUT I get some flickering.

I ran all the cable from the headunit to the back of my Subaru Forester cargo door, at the end i was short in cable for like 30 cm (1 foot).
So I used another extra 5 meters (and joined them together), the grand total was about 10 meters (30 ft),
I'm getting some random flickering, could it be because of the lonnnnnng cable union? I had no flickering with the first cable (neither with the union), until i assemblied everything, perhaps tying a long cable up create some interference?

View attachment 5867445

Should i buy a 1 or 2 ft cable and remove the long 5mtrs extra i connected? The problem is that disassembly all the cargo again....

P.S.
It's NOT the ground issue some of you guys are having.
No, no need to change to a single cable, it would rather be a ground loop. It is necessary to avoid having a cable to my ground on both sides. Check!

Hi guys, tried to search answer in this thread but no luck... I installed cc3 in 2012 Jeep GC Srt8 with premium HK sound system... Everything works pretty well, only subwoofer has completely no sound.

Anyone experienced similar problem?

Hello community!

Here I have a 2016 ford edge, I'm already familiar with the Teyes head units but I still have some questions if I were to get one for my edge.
For example, the options of lane departure warning, sign reading, pre-collision warning are displayed on the dashboard (also I have a simplified GPS replication and a music player replication).
The question is : if I put a CC3 teyes do I keep these options or do they necessarily depend on the my ford sync2?
Ideally I'm looking for someone who has replaced their sync2 my ford with a teyex to find out... if anyone here has this can you please let me know?

Thanks !

Hi guys, it is a normal behaviour that my CC3 leaves the apps in the recent apps list after wake up? So if i open Chrome for example and then the unit goes to sleep, then when i wake it up, Chrome is still in the recent apps list.
(I had NoKill through UDT Manager, and i checked only one app to not kill, but i removed it, factory reseted, then reflashed, rebooted etc...)
Anyone has the same problem? Thanks

Why is it a problem?
Yes it's perfectly normal.

But i read in another thread thats about the Joying headunit, that it kills all apps when it goes to sleep. The NoKill functionality is that it doesn't kill apps when the unit goes to sleep, right? And i deleted the NoKill via reflash. But the apps still remain after sleep.

In FACTORY setting (I think) there's an option where you can start with your last used app ORRRRR the main theme app) give it a try and see if it helps / kills the recently used app after a boot /wake up.

Thanks i tried it but it didn't help. I cannot understand how the NoKill could be still active when i reflashed the firmware multiple times with twipe_all, multiple versions etc...

@uremine12 I think your confusing the app and the recent app. If you sleep your head unit instead of a full off, it will retain a list of what was most recently opened. The app may or may not close, but when the unit wakes up from sleep it will still remember what it was doing before going to sleep. So, I think it's working normally and nothing to go crazy about :)

Yes, imagine that like a tablet, where you have any app running and then you lock it, then you unlock it. They're still gonna be running (most of them).

Yeah, but its also doing things that it should do with NoKill, like after sleep the radio always continues to play, so it didn't kill that, on top of that it is not loading the Navi app, its already loaded, its in the memory, it should kill all of these apps after i wait 10 hours till the morning. And also driving me crazy if i open 30 apps then i see all of them in the recents after sleep.

Yeah but its the difference between headunits and phones/tablets, the headunit should close apps on sleep, but the thing is i don't remember how it was before, i just see that the apps are in the list, its annoying, but maybe it clears them from memory, cause it shows i have more free ram, and if i click on the trash icon, then it says: 'Nothing to clear in cache'... but they still remain there, i guess its a bug (or it was like this before, but i think the radio shouldn't be playing 10 hours after sleep when i wake it up, if i set it to go to the main interface), i will test it more.

Try to take a video if you can, because we are kinda confused.

Hi! I bought a CC3 2K for a 2016 FL Touareg. In car settings I should select CAN BUS Hiworld, but in the package I received a CAN BUS Raise (which works partially). Does anyone know where I could purchase a HIWORLD CAN BUS for the 2016 VW Touareg?

    @gordgelin
    Quick question...

Do you accept payment through any western payment service? I'm stuck on your old free vincent vega release because I can't figure out how to make any payments to you for your updated paid releases.

    TIA.
I used paypal. Private message him using telegram.

No. You must tape the contacts from the flat cable.

Somewhere here i a picture that shows howto.

Yes sir. I do have the GPS antenna plugged (I use google map and waze without a problem). But if I'm playing radio or any video and say i have the volume in 5 and I start driving and accelerate, even at faster speed I dont hear anything louder exactly the same.

Which setting did you set up?
My guess is that it uses canbus info not the gps. Tested and saw no difference myself (gps)....don't have canbus connection

Teyes announced another CC3 update for April 2021, here is the translated changelog.

The following important updates are expected to be released for the CC3 software at the end of April.
The new version will add the following features:

1.Added Cam REC software. With this application, you can record from a rear view camera. The recording files are saved to a flash card.

2.Added TEYES YAHU, the world's first 3D music player for the automotive industry (due to technical complexity, work may not be completed in April).

3.In the device settings, a function has been added to change the screen brightness depending on the time of sunrise and sunset.

4.The system version has been updated. Fixed the issue of crashing the Google Play app in some areas.

5.Added setting for the sensitivity level of voice commands. If you feel that certain keywords easily trigger voice commands, you can lower the sensitivity level. In addition to Russian and English, a voice control function has been added for 7 countries.

6.Added CAR LINK software which supports Android Auto via wired connection and Car Play via wired and wireless connection. Please note that CARPLAY only supports this feature on CC3 devices released in 2021. Android Auto has no limits. For CARPLAY wired connection, you must use the original iPhone USB cable. When using CARPLAY wirelessly, make sure the mobile phone is connected via Bluetooth.

7.Updated EQ software and added a phase switch. The volume and sound effects of the subwoofer change according to the volume of the head unit.

8.Added a new layout for the main screen, as well as automatic switching between day and night modes. From the home screen, you can directly speed dial, view driving data, compass and GPS information. The 4 main music players can be switched with one key. Redesigned and increased image size when viewed in picture-in-picture mode.

9Optimized software for making Bluetooth phone calls. Added a choice of avatars in favorite contacts. Opened data synchronization with the main interface.

10.Added TEYES RADIO and private internet station. Musical compositions can be downloaded and shared through the site mp3.teyes.ru

11.Steering Wheel Key Customization Tutorial has been added for multiple languages.

12.Added automatic OTA update function. In the future, we will provide 2 update methods: manual download update and automatic update.

13.Added multi-finger touch control function. To find out how to use this feature, please see the personal settings section.

14.Added the ability to slide the application menu to the right side of the screen. Swiping from below returns to the previous level. The function is supported no matter which interface you are in!

Hi. earlier you said taht you dont't recommend buying Teyes for people outside Russia and now, that Teyes focuses on European region. What about other countries from Europe other than Russia? I'm from Poland and I own Ford Focus mk 3 (2011-1015)
I am in France, and my CC3 gives me complete satisfaction on my Ford Focus 2. I do not see what the restrictions would be due to the development by the Russians

The Teyes CC2 plus and Spro plus, does not have the extra ADAU1701 DSP and no gyroscope..

There is no need to remove anything or damage the board. Unclip the plastic cover from the rear side of the screen, unclip the ribbon cable from the board and put a small piece of Sellotape over the two end pins on the right of the cable as you look at it. This way you can easily remove the tape if you change your mind. You need good eyes or a magnifying glass!
