I ordered in China.

Took 3 Weeks.

Had to pay 21 Euro import fees in Germany.

Two weeks later i had luck to find a brand new CC3 on kleinanzeigen for 123 Euro.

So my wife also has a CC3 and it works very good in her Swift Sport AZ.

I thought it is a Teyes CC3 thread since it says so on top of each page. The question is which has the better support Australia oder Teyes China?

Thx. Ok, 21 € is not that bad. I need one unit for a Volvo XC90 MJ 2006. It's a bit tricky since the original radio comes in different versions with and w/o Aux port and with or w/o separate amp.. I have one without the AUX and with the amp therefore need special cable and CAN bus decoder. I won't find this on Kleinanzeigen.

Another question: These units come in different memory configurations. I understand that more is better but what is really necessary and what is just overkill ? Is it preferable to have 4GB/128GB or is 3GB/64GB enough?
I won't download a lot of apps but a smooth UI experience is important to me.

It is, that was my mistake my browser was showing all tabs with the same incorrect header.

The question is which has the better support Australia oder Teyes China?

The Austrian support may be better with questions in English.

You will find very few people who will have used both for support to compare as they would need to purchase from both. You can only get support from the 1 you buy from.

Buying from Teyes direct gives the option of raising a dispute with Aliexpress.

Ultimately anything too complicated or firmware related goes through China.

• Do you recommend the product? Or do you recommend any alternative?
• Can it be set to Spanish language?
• Can it connect to the Play Store like any Android?
• Can it connect to the internet via Wi-Fi without using a SIM card?

No, just buy a UIS7862 FYT generic such as sold by Mekede/navifly.

You'll get the equivalent low quality/nonsense support, product of the same quality for less money.

Advice: know what you want to order. Ask for pictures of system information and confirmation of what you intend to order before parting with your cash.

Above all, breathe and take your time.

I have read page after page of this thread, and I see what you're saying. It seems like a good option is UIS7862 FYT generic + the custom kernel available on the forum.

I have another question: If I install the 360 cameras with UIS7862 FYT generic, is there any software available to view them with the 3D effect seen in the Teyes interface? Do you know if this type of software has a specific name to find generic options? Thank you.

Get the most RAM as possible. Don't even consider the lower ones.

Based on what?

8GB RAM is overkill. By default the kernel is not even optimised for 8GB RAM.
We have to manually tweak the kernel to fully utilize 8GB (like in Mario's MD Firmware, though not compatible with Teyes).

My 4GB RAM FYT runs perfect. I'm yet to come across any app or task that struggles because of a lack of RAM.

Next time I would probably buy 6GB but I wouldn't waste the extra money on an 8GB RAM model.

Hey guys.
Just received my CC3 2k and had a few questions.

First the radio antenna connection on my Prius wont fit the head unit so I'm guessing I need to get a adaptor? Unless I missed something in the wiring.

Edit: I forgot to plug in the antenna. Fixed!!

Also when I go inside car info app I can see my tire pressure but its in KPA. Is there a way to change it to PSI? I did not see any way of editing or changing settings in there.

I am also wondering about how to change the tpms from kpa to psi. If you find a solution, please let me know.

Hi.i have a teyes cc3 2k 4/64 for renault trafic 3.canbus and cables provided do not power on unit.i used can and cables from a ts 18 unit and work.anyone had this issue?

Next time I would probably buy 6GB but I wouldn't waste the extra money on an 8GB RAM model.

I haven't seen teyes offer an 8GB CC3 anyway, their max seems to be 6GB. I think I'll stick with my 8GB/128GB Wondefoo for a while. Still a shame no one else is doing accelerometer-based navigation.

Thanks for info! Unfortunately I have a bit different harness and could not copy that.. Could you measure the voltage level now turning your amp on? Just thinking could I just reduce the voltage level to achieve what you have. At the moment I have 10.8V switching the amp on.
