Hello, l will be glad if you can help me resolve an issue with my cc3 radio unit. I downloaded the original file by inserting my radios serial numbers after extracting the file it gave one zip file and and two other files instead of six files. I tried to flash those three to update the radio it gave me an error.I just updated in English. I got it here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1u_7sBUZ8X47lhJiQ4hUDeLZib7Ijnrii/view
The MD5 hash on the file is 7895545795C7DC3A94F1DEB1DD7C2E7A
Same problems, Astra jHi,
I installed CC3 in my opel insignia a few days ago and everything looks ok but not perfect.
First question to other owners, where can I see the outside temperature measured by car (sensor is under right mirror)? I saw somewhere, probably for other head unit or other car manufacture that "Car info" app shows basic information like the temperature, information about seat belts, hand brake, fuel level and consumption etc. In my case, I have there only settings that were available in oryginal radio (navi 900) like setting which doors should be unlocked at opening, some AC settings, some comfort settings etc. but there is no data like I mentioned.
Any idea how can I see temperature from car build in sensor?
Second thing, do you hear some noise even when no music or radio is playing? I suspect that this is something called ground loop noise or something like this but I'm wondering if all android head units have it or it's only for me (maybe I connected something wrong or missed some groud cable...). For oryginal Opel Navi 900 I had no such problem. Of course when I'm driving with the volume at the normal level then it's not a problem.
Next minor issue is, when I listen to FM radio and I get notification from google maps then there is some "click/bang" sound before and after notification.
I didn't hear this "bang sound" when all music playes from a digital source - I mean online radio or spotify mixed with google maps notifications... So here I think that when analog FM radio is mixed or swiched to digital notification sound then something is wrong.
And the last thing, CC3 supports RDS in FM radio (however the font size of RDS program station name and radio text is super small and I hope they will fix the desing in the future). Anyway, there is also AF function that should find the same radio station on a different frequency when the current signal is weak. I noticed that it doesn't work correctly... When the signal is weak then radio tries to find other frequency but it ends up with jumping from the current station to some others. I know that oryginal car head units usually have 2 tuners (main that is used for playing the radio and second one that constantly scans frequencies to have the list of available stations in current location).
Do you have similar problem?
What is your canbus setting? You need to set it correctly and buttons should work. I saw that there is a setting for Astra J using RZC. Here you can check it https://cc3.teyes.ru/en/canbus.html
My canbus settings are OK, everything else works, clima control, steering wheel, door open, parking sensors, only central console not working, it doesn't even light upWhat is your canbus setting? For my Insignia it's set as Buick Regal (it's a US version of Opel Insignia) and only some buttons from central console work and these which work have different functions than they should...
Regarding steering wheel, all buttons work ok (volume+-/next/previous/phone/mute/source). Unfortunatelly, I haven't found a way to add assignment for long press.
I hope that you've already made sure that all original cabes are connected to this panel because If there is even no backlight then in 99% it's a problem with cables. I remember that in my insignia there were 4 or even 5 cables connected to the panel with all buttons.
all cables are connected, one cable is for air conditioning, the second is for ESP, the third is for parking sensors and the fourth is for center console. I read on the internet that more people have this problem, it happens on CD 500 and up, up to CD400 there is no problem. Some changes need to be made to the wires, but it is not very well explained on the site, there is a video on YouTube with an explanation, but it is in German, watch video from 14:40I hope that you've already made sure that all original cabes are connected to this panel because If there is even no backlight then in 99% it's a problem with cables. Thank you for quick response but link doesn't open.Hello, l will be glad if you can help me resolve an issue with my cc3 radio unit. I have no idea where to get the other three file naming : AllAppUpdate. LOGO.bmp. bootanimation zip.
Check Canbus settingsHello.
I bought a teyes cc3 months ago. Yesterday I updated and now the rear camera does not work when I go backwards. The image does not change. Before updating everything worked correctly. What solution do I have?
I do not know if I have explained it correctly, I am using translator.
Bad luck / low quality/ lack of QA / compromised design; these sorts of issues are common across all Chinese origin greybox Android units.Hi, I don't know if anyone would have any hypothesis on my CC3 issue. I have had had two of these android head units and both failed within a similar time frame the same way. Every function of the CC3 works except the touchscreen which stoped responding after a couple of minutes after first booting it up in the car.
I installed a new screen, this has not made a difference. I can hear a noise coming from the speakers when the headlights turn on and at different points (so I guess there is a ground loop).
My question is, if it is potentially the car causing it in some way or is it just bad luck?
This is specifically for the issues you are having remapping your buttons. Thanks, you are correct, I am using "XP Ford Focus 2012" settings, its ok but not all the buttons work, for example the voice command button in the centre left steering wheel group does nothing and I can't program any of the console buttons. Has anyone manage to set controls with the "XP Ford Focus 2012" settings? That Ford Ranger model did not exist before I had problems after my unit was installed, crazy that they sell anything for a model that can't have actually been tested at all.
I will send my Autoelec an email to check, but my guess is that he has done it ok as he had to come back to fix the reverse/rear cam wiring to be correct so he checked a few other things then.
When you manually put yours into deep sleep how do you do this physically eg. on the screen of the CC3 or a button in the car? I have been unable to workout anything like this, maybe a short video when convenient will be more descriptive
What the... It looks that those buttons are under the panel, Those 2 holes are for the mic and the reset of the device. Something is clearly wrong with that oem panel.
I am in France, and my CC3 gives me complete satisfaction on my Ford Focus 2. I do not see what the restrictions would be due to the development by the Russians
