CC3 does have am radio. Maybe you are getting confused in that there is a mod to remove am for Russia which does not use am.

Yes I had seen that you could do that too I tried it but without result. I also checked my IMEI but they are valid.
OK, we can forget about this problem, it's just a batch of faulty sim cards, but my wonderful operator didn't have the good idea to warn!

Teyes Yahu says to contact seller to activate so probably paid app otherwise not sure of improvments. It says in update log cc3 free for Yahu so why is it not activated with the update instead of needing reseller involvement. Typical Teyes let's not make it easy for the user.

Thanks again for responding. Good to have input from someone who installed the CC3 in the same vehicle. Question: did you connect the CC3 to the existing back-up camera or purchase the Teyes back-up camera. If you used the existing Toyota camera did you have to use an additional connection harness such as the Axxess AX-TOYCAM3-6V I have purchased to make this connection? As for the GPS antenna I think I will just go with the supplied Teyes antenna. I am going to mount it as well as the 2 - WiFi antennas behind the radio under the dash and see how this works. A You Tuber stated this location worked fine for his Toyota with good reception. If it doesn't work I will just relocate later to the Pillar A location. Since the WiFi antenna ends are flat, did you install them INSIDE the Pillar A? Planning to install the external mic on the left side of the shelf below the climate control dials. I just wish to eliminate any visible items above along side the A pillar if necessary. The only visible upper item will be the DVR camera. Again thanks and let me know your experience on my additional questions.

I just rechecked the general configuration of the CC3. The update had to modify the configuration of the audio: Switched to surround mode and the audio of the GPS was no longer audible. But, why only with the FM radio???
The FM radio is a direct hardware i2C connect from the FM-chip into the MCU and through the Amp. That is not Android functionality as such.
The media players and other apps are real Android apps and are completely "inside" Android. They are directly handled by the Android layer.

Okay maybe someone on here can help me out. On the forum of Teyes Australia another CC3 user with the same car as mine a 2010 lancer with Rockford amp we don't have full speaker settings for are amp with the canbus .He told me that he saw on other forums that users were able to get the features of OEM speaker settings ac info and the dynamic parking line from teyes Russia. They have a newer version of the canbus adapter with an extra wire connector that adds the functions. Link 1 link 2 Here is the forums where the people got the newer canbus showing off the features. My question is they have the links to buy them Link to Canbus on teyes but its the russian teyes website and teyes Australia doesn't have it on theres . i even emailed teyes Australia trying to explain and they don't seem to understand. Im not sure how to get this newer canbus

I have a CC3 unit ready to install in my 2018 Toyota Highlander LTD. Also bought the DRV camera. When I checked the male connector to the CC3 HU it appeared only to fit in the dual USB slot of the HU. The included You Tube DVR installation video below seemed to confirm this in the video. Does that mean I now lose the double USB ports? There is a female USB wire spliced to the DVR wiring. Is this for connecting the dual USB ports and if so what harness is required to achieve this. Remember Android auto transfer from a cell phone must be connected to USB 2 or 3 to work. It doesn't work on USB 1. Really need clarification on this conflict. Thanks
there is a single usb port (usb 1)
there is a dual usb port (usb 2 & 3)
the dvr replaces usb 2 & 3 and gives you a dvr connection and a usb
so you lose 1 of the 3 usb ports
you still have usb 1 and 2
you can plug your android phone into the usb that is connected to the dvr (usb 2)
I am looking to install the teyes cc3 on a 2016 Honda hrv. We’re you able to get everything working? I want to keep steering controls, reverse/side camera and all usb and HDMI ports.
No issues, everything works except the lane assist camera. It's like it doesn't exist, you indicate and there's no change to the screen. I can use all steering controls, reverse camera, USB works - haven't tested HDMI.
2 questions
1. Is there a way to make the usb ports shut off when the car is turned off?
2. Sometimes when I turn on the car, the unit turns on from complete off, not sleep mode, even if it's a few minutes after I turned the car off, any way to change that?

Thank you for the advice. I did all of the above, but unfortunately with the same result as before.
The CC3 sees the OBD2 adapter in the Bluetooth menu, but after some time attempting to connect I get a "Connected Unsuccessfully" message ( or at least that is what I believe it says, because the message is cut off )
Also I would like to do a follow up regarding the new firmware. I can confirm that with it the device remains in sleep while the ignition of the car is off, even after 1h and 45min once the ignition was turned on the device woke up instantly. Where as before with the original firmware, after about 5min the device would do a clean / full boot.
And for those looking to get Google assistant working a possible workaround would be to trigger the assistant via one of your steering wheel buttons.

#2 Set the Google Assistant as the Navi App option
#3 Go to Settings / Device / Steering Wheel Setting
#4 Map one of your steering wheel buttons to launch the Navi app.
Now just before anyone get way too excited, this is not a perfect solution.
While I'm able to do things like opening apps ( YouTube, waze, 360 panorama app ) asking for direction via google maps, playing specific Playlist via Spotify. I discovered that it's not possible to make or receive phone calls via the assistant, and most likely there are other things that I did not test or discovered.3
That's not necessarily the case. In the normal world, red is usually 12v constant from battery. However, in Chinese android head unit land, I've seen yellow be 12v constant.
Best advice is to check schematics for your car and the schematics for the CC3. Not a bad idea to check source voltage with a multimeter as well.

The G plug has B+ for 12v constant and ACC pins.3Be very careful about adjusting the backlight settings.
I don't know if they've improved the UI experience from before, but if they haven't you can get yourself into a situation where you may need to do a factory reset or maybe that won't even help.
On older models, I've read about people adjusting the settings so that the screen is unreadable and then, because the screen is unreadable, they can't revert the settings as they can't figure out where controls are.
And, write down the settings that work before you change them so that you can set them back, if needed.3
I concur - I always thought red is BAT, yellow is ACC - makes sense just by the color -, but I've met at least five Chinese head units and cameras where BAT was yellow and RED was ACC, from the factory, labeling, cable thickness. They could also mix them up, so better test it.2

it looks like your Wiring is mixed up, as the red should be constant 12V (battery) and yelllow should be ACC.
try to reconnect them and check again. is should solve your problem.

7Teyes announced another CC3 update for April 2021, here is the translated changelog.
The following important updates are expected to be released for the CC3 software at the end of April.
The new version will add the following features:
1.Added Cam REC software. With this application, you can record from a rear view camera. The recording files are saved to a flash card.
2.Added TEYES YAHU, the world's first 3D music player for the automotive industry (due to technical complexity, work may not be completed in April).
3.In the device settings, a function has been added to change the screen brightness depending on the time of sunrise and sunset.
4.The system version has been updated. Fixed the issue of crashing the Google Play app in some areas.
5.Added setting for the sensitivity level of voice commands. If you feel that certain keywords easily trigger voice commands, you can lower the sensitivity level. In addition to Russian and English, a voice control function has been added for 7 countries.
6.Added CAR LINK software which supports Android Auto via wired connection and Car Play via wired and wireless connection. Please note that CARPLAY only supports this feature on CC3 devices released in 2021. Android Auto has no limits. For CARPLAY wired connection, you must use the original iPhone USB cable. When using CARPLAY wirelessly, make sure the mobile phone is connected via Bluetooth.
7.Updated EQ software and added a phase switch. The volume and sound effects of the subwoofer change according to the volume of the head unit.

I am in France, and my CC3 gives me complete satisfaction on my Ford Focus 2. I do not see what the restrictions would be due to the development by the Russians5

unpack this to usb stick and plug into HU usb port, just like usual firmware update. it will clear cache
