It crashed when I used CarLink 2.0 from the newest build. Wired Android Auto is working fine on older version.
Hello all, I have been reading about the Vincent Vega software. And want to clarify a couple of items.
1 - does this version cost anything to install on a CC3 unit? Is it only for the older units that you need to pay?
2 - Is there a over the air updater - or do you need to manually update. It appears the stock Teyes has OTA updating.
3 - What does the device appear as in the play store? Is it SPRD Ums512_1h10_Natv? I have a few devices and this appears to be the new one.
4 - Is there a way to keep AM in the radio. I could not see a patch and the description indicates this is removed. Do you still only have the 3 sets of FM stations (18 presets saved)? In NZ we still have AM.
Think that is all. I am looking at possibly updating. But will have to install the TPMS patch.

It is free and manually updated. I messaged gordgelin for a am radio apk patch. You can try the firmware and if not suitable revert back to standard firmware.

I've been trying to get an external USB cd/dvd player to work with CC3 in order to play audio cd. But it cant recognice the audio files. It says data is corrupt and ask to format the device. The external USB cd/dvd player is supposed to work with android units.
Is there any settings needed to be done in order to get it to work?

Guys, can you post the latest firmware update? Or how do I get one from other source? Is there even other source?
I have a little trouble with mine unit - I put "Machine Quick Eesponse Code" on that Teyes portal and it says its invalid or something like that. FYI CAN Protocol Version and Serial number are Unknown for some reason. I had mine unit installed by a professional.

Does the CD player have audio output ports? If it does, perhaps connect it to the CC3 using RCA cables?
Just purchased the Highlander3 CC3 64GC with 6gb ram. My Highlander is the 2018 LTD model with backup camera, navigation, and steering wheel control. I understand Teyes will supply ALL cables and accessories to install the radio. Is this true? I not what other connectors must I purchase. Also does this unit connect to my stock microphone or does it include a separate microphone I must install? Does this unit connect to my stock backup camera? I am not looking to upgrade my backup camera or install a front camera. In order to use Android Auto I must connect my phone to the radio USB connector # 2 or # 3 I believe. When I connect the radio do these USB connectors from the Teyes unit connect to my existing stock USB ports in my car? Also I bought a power subwoofer which uses an RCA input. I don't see an RCA out port on the Teyes unit. Am I missing something. Any assistance on the install would be appreciated. Last thing is the Teyes website installation video for the 2018 Toyota Highlander is in Russian. Is there a link to this video with English subtitles or any other English Highlander install videos. Thank you in advance.
Every Teyes radio comes with a black bag with optional connectors, for camera, mic connection ect.
Teyes has RCA out for front, back and sub. Comes as cable harness which is connected on one of the ports in the back.

I’m not sure about those questions. I’ve heard that it doesn’t work with some cars backup camera. Mic the same. CC3 comes with an external mic input but not with the mic itself. It has a built in mic but it isn’t very good. All these things will be trial and error for you unless someone with the same car can add correct information. USB I think will not work over canbus. So you will most likely have to use the CC3 USB connectors. But don’t take my word for it.
To use the factory reverse camera, if it has a RCA video output nd if you know the reverse trigger cable, you can hook it up to the CC3 easy.
Can anyone provide me with the latest 9-24 build that came installed out the factory.
I was trying to hard reset my unit and i downloaded the build from the site and it reverted the unit back to 7/24 build.

7Teyes announced another CC3 update for April 2021, here is the translated changelog.
The following important updates are expected to be released for the CC3 software at the end of April.
The new version will add the following features:
1.Added Cam REC software. With this application, you can record from a rear view camera. The recording files are saved to a flash card.
2.Added TEYES YAHU, the world's first 3D music player for the automotive industry (due to technical complexity, work may not be completed in April).
3.In the device settings, a function has been added to change the screen brightness depending on the time of sunrise and sunset.
4.The system version has been updated. Fixed the issue of crashing the Google Play app in some areas.
5.Added setting for the sensitivity level of voice commands. If you feel that certain keywords easily trigger voice commands, you can lower the sensitivity level. In addition to Russian and English, a voice control function has been added for 7 countries.
6.Added CAR LINK software which supports Android Auto via wired connection and Car Play via wired and wireless connection. Please note that CARPLAY only supports this feature on CC3 devices released in 2021. Android Auto has no limits. For CARPLAY wired connection, you must use the original iPhone USB cable. When using CARPLAY wirelessly, make sure the mobile phone is connected via Bluetooth.
7.Updated EQ software and added a phase switch. The volume and sound effects of the subwoofer change according to the volume of the head unit.

Unclip the plastic cover from the rear side of the screen, unclip the ribbon cable from the board and put a small piece of Sellotape over the two end pins on the right of the cable as you look at it. Notice that there is also a CC2 plus and a Spro plus, that have more or less the same specifications.
The Teyes CC2 plus and Spro plus, does not have the extra ADAU1701 DSP and no gyroscope..
