You can find a tutorial using their app to register and download the patch, I'm sure you could edit the file though with how finicky this device is I'd use the patch as it's known to be reliable.



I spoke about how to remove the weather from statusbar in post #2982 and it appears to work perfectly.

I started my car after work and CC3 booted, since I've had it I don't think I've seen a reboot yet so that's not good it takes a long time if it this keeps happening I'll revert back to Vincent Vega firmware. Will see what happens tomorrow morning.

Sleep seems ok in 15/03 firmware so I am happy with it. If it is not sleeping try turning sleep mode off then on again in factory settings. Mine required this.

Firmware from 03/15/2023 WILL NOT BE ROLLED FROM THIS FIRMWARE VERSION TO A VERSION OLDER than 07/01/2022 IMPOSSIBLE!!!! INSTALL IT IS PREFERABLE WITH A COMPLETE RESET OTHERWISE PROBLEMS WITH THE OPERATION OF SOME APPLICATIONS ARE POSSIBLE !!

There are no such restrictions for paid modified firmware.

I'm monitoring sleep, if it reboots again I'll toggle the switch, thought it was odd though since I haven't had the unit reboot since I purchased it until I was toggling a reboot.

I'm just looking for some REAR parking sensors that will bring up the radar on the teyes head unit like it does with the front ones

I don't have oem sensors. So they would need to be aftermarket

It's an audi tt mk2 2007 8j car

Anyone had any luck with it?

Randomly on firmware 03/15/2023 from sleep a blank app will be open and radio static is heard thru speakers, assuming this is the fm radio, app doesn't appear to load, the back button will exit the app. Does anyone have this issue on latest firmware ?

Ahm..., may be because I'm familiar with GGM(especially Traffic condition feature, which most important feature in the very congested city like Bangkok/Thailand, and be honestly I haven't heard about Waze, just heard from you, however I'll try.

I have a brand new cc3 2k in my 07 is250.

I noticed that when i change the volume with the cars stock volume knob that it changes one volume (i'm assuming amp volume?). on the other hand the steering wheel buttons change the head unit volume. Is there a way to get both the knob and steering wheel buttons to control the same volume (preferably the amp? volume)?

The CC3 doea see the stock volume knob over can bus and displays the volume level but its in this little weird pop up in the middle of the screen.

You don't have to do this at all! Just remove or change luncher app ( the app always open in top right in main page) change it from Google map to something else, this will fix the issue.

Have you guys had noticed that videos are lower than radio or any other thing you listen to? (besides audio calls). I did have the same volume level for all and I still think videos are maybe 20 or 30% lower, i always have to turn it a little bit higher to hear it properly.

I have a Teyes CC3 android head unit for my 2014 Toyota RAV4. I am trying to add a subwoofer to my current system but did not find a RCA Out L/R or a Sub Out RCA on the back of the radio. Does anyone know how I might be able to add a Sub if I do not have a sub out or RCA out plug? Do I need another harness for this? Thanks.

Teyes is still occassionly not sleeping but restarting in 15/03 firmware. Worked fine for about a week then started to act up. Nothing was changed my end. Frustrating.

Try this ...

Go to settings --> Factory settings --> 168 --> Volume Balance settings and adjust accordingly to your preferences

I still find that audio levels still don't quite line up the same. I found App Volume Control on 4pda maybe try that ?

I'm curious how much ram does your model have ?

Do you use have the nokill mod applied ?

I haven't experienced any reboots since that first time I mentioned it happening, I have rebooted the unit a couple times playing around with certain things.
