It seems that there are not many posts about the TF300TG until now.
There are some differences to the model without 3G, so I guess I would be helpful to collect hints about the TG in this special thread.

I have the TF300TG with the QWERTZ-keyboard, Build: IML74K.WW_epad-9.4.4.28.1-20120525.

Rooting: The "1-Click Transformer Root" 1.1 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1689193) worked without problems.

Sleeves: The slot for the SIM-Card (btw.: it's a Mini-SIM-slot) is on the left side of the case so the other slots are in another order. So many of the sleeves for the TF300T don't fit exactly with the holes at the wrong positions.

Hey, where did you get yours? I think I'll go for one of these too!

I have got tf300TG and I root it and install [ROM][AOKP][Build 40][4.0.4] but it doesn´t support 3g version so I would like to install stock rom back but I don´t know, how can I do it? :)

Hi, I was install to my 300TG rom for 300T and I didn´t know that 3G will not work :( How can I back to my 300TG?
I am in kinda the same situation. I knew that the simcard function wouldnt work though:). But make a rollback to the stock version of the TG, sems like a problem somehow. I can install the latest stock for TF300T on my TF300TG device, but for some reason it won't let me install the latest TF300TG on my device.. I even tried to change the build prop in the system so the device again reads as being a TF300TG,.. dispite that, it still wont me let rollback. halts ½way trough the install and gives you a (status 7) error.

without being an expert, I think it has to do with something like we need a recovery file made for the TF300TG Version V9.4.4.28.1. And as I see, no one has made that yet.. And I dunno how to make it

Yes I was try to flash it with original rom from Asus by TWRP but it gives me error (status 7) ... I agree with you, we need recovery file or CyanogenMod for tf300tg or something like that....

The main problem I think is that pretty much all the dev's sits with the TF300T version only. If they would just make a recovery or a solution that would make the TF300TG owners able to rollback to the stock version for TF300TG, i would be verrrrrry happy. shouldnt be a big problem to solve for dev.

After pretty much trying every single solution possible, I finally found a way to roll back to the stock .28 version myself. Now simcard works again :).

Will make a thread with a guide on this later today.

Tf300tg build.prop backup // Bluetooth problems

Hello,

As a new happy user of a tf300tg. I just rooted the device. Just in case, I made some backup of apps I'm planning to uninstall, and also build.prop. As someone asked for a build.prop, here is the link.

Build.prop backup
download

Also, did someone tried to phone with a bluetooth headset (voip)?

I tried with 2 differents bluetooth devices without succes. Both headsets are recognized, but no sound (in or out). I tried with several voip apps (bria, csipsimple , acrobits softphone, ...).

No problem with a wired headset by the way. But as I use my tf300tg as my primary phone, it's not really convenient to connect my wired headset each time I have to make or receive a call.
