I absolutely LOVE the way the keyboard of my tf700 works as a keyboard and battery. However- even with cromi, the device has major issues (slow/lag/flash lines occn). I am reluctant to trust asus again- heck- this device (700) got rave reviews too!

Are there any other devices with a similar keyboard like this one that can hold charge? nothing by samsung/ or lg???

The tf701 is the upgraded version of the infinity, packs a tegra 4 processor and doesn't seem to have the tf700 issues.
Also there's the hp slatebook x2, same processor and I think same ram (2gb) but a lower resolution.

Check them out in a store I'd say

Is the Tf701t available in the UK yet? I had a look on Amazon and Ebuyer but they cannot be found when I search :( All sites say release on 21st October, which has been and gone but I can't find it to buy.

I'd swap my TF700 for a TF701 in a heartbeat :)

I sold my tf700 and am planning on getting the new infinity.
Keep your eyes open, it should be available one of these days\(weeks?)
It's online in webshops in Holland. But I'm waiting to get it at a particular store here, it will be easier for warranty returns and what not.

I have ordered a tf701, set to ship on 11/3. Ordered from eBay, ordered the dock via Amazon (saved $30)

I love my tf700, but the memory issues really cripple this device. To bad really. I would not upgrade it if it would perform as advertised. Off to eBay it goes. At least it will cover 75% of the cost of the new one.

I got the TF701 today after 2-day shipping from NewEgg on release day. The lag issue is not present, which is nice. I sold my TF700 after a month of use because of the slow storage lag issue.

Loving this tablet!
