I am not sure but I maybe I did something stupid.

I am a total root newbie but I wanted an adblocker for my Moto G 4.4.2 so I followed your guide and went to the Motorola website to get the bootloader.
I signed in with my Google account but then decided not to root it because it is too complicated for me

Is my waranty gone now because I already signed in and they think I rooted my phone?

If you received a code to unlock your bootloader, and you don't live in Europe, your warranty is gone.

Oh thanks you very much for that information. I did not receive a code and I actually do live in Europe (Germany).

So if i live in Europe my waranty will not be gone if i root it or get the bootloader from Motorola?

I am actually uncertain about how that works. It might just be Italy, or I might be completely off base. If you didn't get a code back from Motorola, than you should be fine. I will check the step number and report back

Thanks.
Umm i am not so sure about the code anymore.
How exactly do they give you the code? Because i saw some numbers you had to type in your console or something? Was that the code?

I am not sure what you are talking about anymore :p the only sure fire way is to contact Motorola (Quick before the Chinese come!) And make sure that your warranty is still valid.

FLASH "SUPERSU.MOTOG.ZIP"
1) Wait for screen to time out
2) Awaken device with the power button
3) Tap "Install"
4) Select "supersu.motog.zip"
5) Swipe to install
WARNING! The touch screen will be buggy. Just try the best you can. It is possible to install the zip, I have done it. Good luck!

REBOOT
1) Reboot your phone
Noob question!

Hello, these finals instructions appear to be for TWRP, but I installed CWM for Kitkat, and it didn't specify that I have to move "supersu.motog.zip" to the internal storage of the phone BEFORE I do the steps before this. Maybe I'm wrong, but I couldn't find "supersu.motog.zip" once I rebooted to CWM, so I had to copy "supersu.motog.zip" into the internal storage and do it all over again.

I hope I did it right, because now I seem to have SuperSU on my device.

Files Needed:
My root tools
ADB Tools - make sure to add to your Window's Path (step 4 and on)
Moto G drivers

Be sure to place "supersu.motog.zip" on the root of your device

You are correct. I didn't add that part to the actually instructions. As for the last bit, yes it is aimed at TWRP more because the guide originally started off as TWRP only. Later, I will add an adb push command in the instructions for users to use to move the "supersu.motog.zip" to their internal storage.

Way to shamelessly advertise your work on a thread maintained by another person. I mean seriously. You don't walk into an Apple store(not like you do that anyways xD) wearing an Android T-Shirt. You don't promote your work in someone else's thread. It just is rude and not cool.

No, just be mindful of what you are doing and understand how the other side feels about it. I am glad that you made the toolkit. It helps some how just want root and leave. A cmd method allows other users to learn how and why something is working. I am just here to help people achieve their goals and learn along the way. You are here to make thongs fast and easy. Two different goals. Bottom line, don't come to my thread and tell people to use a toolkit if they are having issues some people want to learn. You can come and help give people tips and help with using a command window if you like.

No problem. Good job on the toolkit though. You wanna tackle root with locked bootloader? The Moto X has a method called SlapMyMoto or something like that. Maybe it could work for us?

Maybe we can work and find a solution!! Let me update the toolkit... And i will send you PM if you want.. :D
