heya..can you put up a version where the notification icons are on the right; the batt, network icons are on the left and the time on center? xml is very alien to me :D
I'll try and get to it this evening

Hi TGF.. Just want to ask..
Does it include transparency..?
Bcoz on mine it didnt apply..
and I've already disable wallpaper hack on ADW..

Anyway.. Thanks for your great work.. :D

Edit: seems that you've did the transparency thingy..
but weird on my device.. it didnt work..
even though i've reboot.. applied Meizu and reboot again and again..
The transparency should be there in the full ROM and the patch. Check to see if SystemUI.odex is still kicking around (it shouldn't be)

Boot to recovery from ROM Manager and flash it the long way. I can't help with fixing ROM Manager as it's not documented, and the source code isn't available

You need a theme that supports transparency (Meizu for example) and you need to disable the wallpaper hack in your launcher. If there's no setting for it, then you need to use a live wallpaper (which is what I have to do)

So i need to do exactly what you said in the first post... i like it the meizu theme. just need to follow the steps. nothing more.

If a want another theme, just need to install another one. following the same steps you refer?

Ok, thanks. Something's up with the installation script in the patch then, it should delete SystemUI.odex for you... Hmm...
TGF, SystemUI.odex was not deleted for me also. I had to do it via adb. Just one question since I'm not so good at scripting and how you make such things... Have you mounted /system before the command to remove SystemUI.odex? I've noticed that I had to mount it in order to delete it (perhaps is a noob thing to ask that, don't throw rocks at me:))

TGF.. Tried your CM7.1-Kang..

Not bad.. Quite fast.. And Love it..
Easy to install.. eg: no need to install gapps.. patch.. etc.. :D

Though I cant tell any diff from the patch..
May I know what's the diff btwn CM7.1+patch and your rom?

He already said which are the differences:

Code:
Moved lockscreen text up a bit
Removed lots of padding
Added semi transparent bg to music control
Allowed transparency in status bar
Centred clock
Centred date
Added MIUI battery bar - http://review.cyanogenmod.com/#change,7678 | http://review.cyanogenmod.com/#change,7677
Added style options for Ring lock lockscreen - [URL]http://review.cyanogenmod.com/#[/URL]

The script mounts /system, copies the stuff across, is meant to delete SystemUI.odex and doesn't then it unmounts /system again.

The main difference between the kang build and the official is those 2 patches at the bottom of the list. Poke around in CMSettings to see them :D

TGF,

tryed to install the theme on my Legend with CM 7.1.0 via CWM install says ok but after the reboot the theme will not be present.

Is there something additional i have to do to activate your theme?

Yes...you'll have to read the entire thread not just the first post. Usually the other posts contains usefull info too. Several others including me, had the same problem and I've explained why and what to do in THIS post. Maybe you didn't understood...this is not a "theme" it is a patch to a theme (MEIZU) or to other theme that supports transparency. The zip itself does not include the theme, you should have it installed before applying the patch.

Thanks for providing the patch. Got the transparent status bar after manually removing SystemUI.odex

But I am facing one issue - Date is not showing up when I pull down the notification bar. Time stays there in the center. :(

Another question.

What if I want to enable tablet tweaks only. (I really don't like rest of the features)
Can you give an idea how to do that. TIA
