TGF, is there too much if I kindly ask for a step-by-step tutorial about how to make such patch for the nightly builds? I've tried the one linked in MEIZU theme by Zdune25 HERE and also read MEIZU thread but unfortunately I wasn't able to do it. The ROM is odexed so there's no "smali" dir, and also the patcher from the last version is not the same with the one in Zdune's tutorial (there's a patcherADB.bat in the movie that's not included in the last version of the patcher).

So if it's not such a time consuming thing for you, maybe you can post here a guide how to do it, including links for all the tools neded (if something more than apktool or Android SDK is needed). I'm sure many will appreciate this and will not bother you anymore with requests such as "please update the patch for latest nightly"

yup.. +1.. Totally agreed on that..

I've managed to deodex.. and make transparent status bar..

But to change the clock/batt/other icons position always end up as a failure..

Would really appreciate if TGF or maybe somebody could make such tutorials..

Text or video? I'll see what I can do...

While not made specifically for this MOD, I did make this video on how to centre the clock and flip the icons. I do quite a bit more than that in this mod, do you want a guide for those bits too?

Including the "tablet" addition will be nice. I got used with having that notification button on the status bar and I think is usefull. The transparency is not a must, anyways for me at least it seems that is dimishing de initial white colors of the signs and instead of white they appear as some light gray (because of the transparency I guess) and therefore harder to read. Anything you will consider useful for us and won't take too much of your time will be appreciated. What I can say is that I'll post here any patch I'll make for a nightly so others cand download them too.

It's probably just me (or the themes I've tried rather), but does the latest version of the mod lack transparency? I've tried both Orion and LunarUI Trans but the notification bar remains opaque. Whatever, I'll keep trying though.

Sorry

I've been a bit absent from these forums, I'm sorry

See here for how I do the centre clock and notif switch, and I plan on adding the other things I do in TGF mod in the third post of that thread. I'll have that done by next week (hopefully)

What part would you guys like first?

I'll also try to make an updated full build next Monday, with the MIUI battery included. :D These things get harder when the data pins on my Legend are broken though :S

I'm aware that this is beyond the scope of your mod, but do you think you could add the PDroid patch to your build? Or would a PDroid patch made for the regular CM7 for Legend also work with your build?

CM7 has permission management built in.

Go to CMSettings-->Applications and enable the permission management checkbox

Then go back to settings --> Applications --> Manage applications

Then click on the app you want to manage, and just tap the permission to toggle it

;)

I'm aware of the security settings in CM7. However, compared to PDroid it has limited functionality. It either blocks access or it does not, where with PDroid you can also opt to feed an app predefined or random dummy data.

I've tested PDroid on my gf's wildfire and the difference with CM7's system feels like moving from stock HTC rom to CM7.

Hm... I don't like the idea of feeding false data, so I probably won't make any effort to integrate it. Sorry :(

It looks fairly trivial to add, however. If someone has also made a patch for CM7.1 it MIGHT work on my build. In fact, if it was made fro 7.1 stable it'll probably work. Backup though

Hey man I got a problem, when I flash your patch everything work but no transparency status bar, so I decided to do it myself for the nb 253 with the same result. I precise that I use theme which allows transparency with the devil rom ( I guess this rom use the same kind of process.)
Any idea.
