Could you post some screenshots of these so-called tablet tweaks? I'd flash 7.1 (running Nightly 251 now) just to get the transparent statusbar (and the other goodies), but I'm a bit reluctant since I don't know what I'll end up with.

(Or, long shot here, could you make Nightly 251's statusbar transparent ;) ? - link @ h**p://download.cyanogenmod.com/get/cm_legend_full-251.zip)

Tablet Tweaks do many things, but I primarily use it to stop apps from going full screen ;)

As for a new version. Maybe

My Legend is broken so I can't transfer data to or from it using the USB cable; I have to use an SD card reader or bluetooth (my PC doesn't have bluetooth). I hope you can understand that this extra hassle just puts me of building and testing, as I can't use adb to speed the process up.

If you're feeling brave, PM me and you can test a new version if you like

Also, welcome to XDA!

Oh, so it's not just the same as the tablet tweaks found in the CM Settings menus?
As for testing, I'd be happy to try, but I'm actually in the middle of my exams so I should be focusing on other things.

I pride myself on my honesty, so here goes. Basically, I'm being lazy and asking you to mod only the transparency in nightly 251 for me, and even supply me with a flashable zip. I'd try to do it myself, but I'd only screw things up (believe me, I even failed at changing fonts in fastboot).

We'll see...

I have a coursework deadline though...

Jokes, I'll see what I can "cook" up ;)

The coursework deadline is true though

Ok, I can't get it to work.
I flashed the zip from the recovery menu (flash zip from sdcard) and formatted the cache partition, but it doesn't seem to work. I've checked that SystemUI.odex is gone with ASTRO, I've tried both the MIUI and Meizu themes, and I've tried ADW Launcher with the wallpaper hack disabled. But the statusbar doesn't go transparent (funny thing though, set the screen calibration in CM Settings to anything different than none and your statusbar will look funky - icons everywhere).

Any idea why it doesn't work?

How strange... What happens if you use a live wallpaper? I'll check over my zip again too

Using a live wallpaper doesn't work either. Anyway, I'm done testing for the day, off to my friends for New Year's. Have fun tonight!

I fixed it by using that online ROM kitchen. Thanks for you effort anyway, much appreciated.

Hi! You're welcome to post here, the aria and legend are almost identical.

Where do you get that error? Is it when flashing?

EDIT:

Oooh, I just remembered. The updater script checks to make sure the phone is a Legend, which is why it won't flash. You can just extract the zip and push the framework to /system/framework/ and SystemUI to /system/app/. Or if you let me know exactly which zip you're trying to use I can make a version without the device check for you :D

Hi there. I had flashed your patch. I've been testing some themes. I like you work here.

Could you make one like on first post, but where could have a battery bar on status bar? That remove battery icon and stays a bar instead.

Just asking.

I'm not sure I can necessarily patch the MIUI bar in, but I'll look into it. I may well just build from source and provide a full ROM

EDIT:

Hokay, I've looked into the MIUI battery bar and it seems that it's been abandoned in the CM tree (no idea why). Nevertheless, I'll be building from source with a few not-yet-merged patches in, as well as a few other tweaks.
