I shot an email about the Vanguard rugged case. I usually use Spigen Tough Armor cases but would be happy to try yours and report back. Definitely have always been a fan of heavy duty cases (my usage of which is probably why I've never cracked a screen or gotten worse than a scratch on my phones).

This sticky is as close to spam as it gets. They pulled off the same thing with the S22U release. Offered a few free cases and then let the thread run long after they gave away those cases. That gave false hope to many and free advertising for Caseborne.
And why is this a sticky? This should be an accessory topic.

I just went through the hoops to get this and got the email on how to receive my "free" case and this is COMPLETELY against Amazon's ToS by buying an item in exchange for a review and receiving your money back outside of Amazon. This is also how scammers get a lot of good reviews on Amazon by giving crap away for a good review. Then switch the listing to something completely different and have a ton of good reviews.

The instructions make clear that they are interested in feedback given to them, *not* reviews. Amazon also allows reviews for free product as long as it's disclosed by the seller. Asking for the order number could be to ensure that the order is marked as such.

The only time that Amazon allows for a free product like that is if the refund is given through Amazon this is explicitly stated that the refund is outside of Amazon

Well again, the instructions don't say anything about wanting reviews, they want feedback.

"We are not interested in reviews, just want to learn your thoughts about our new product lines."

No Amazon terms violation.

I sell things on Amazon as well and I just spoke with customer support for sellers and ask them about this even without asking for a review this is against their terms of service If it wasn't for the personal information shared between me and the chat rep I would post the screenshots here saying as much

I think this falls in a loop-hole. TECHNICALLY, there is NO REFUND being given at all. You put the items in your cart, send them the information (totals) and they FUND YOU BEFORE YOU BUY, so there is no refund, so to speak.

The Order ID is to make sure you use the funds provided to order and they can tell if you asked for a refund with your order number and then talk to you about getting their money back.

I have done this deal several times for various phones and have never had an issue, so this is not SPAM as it is a Legit ask from someone, who obviously, went through the proper process with XDA to post this and offer this to their users.

I was hoping the cases would arrive today (Amazon states that it should be here by 9pm, but it is still in SHIPPED status and not Out for Delivery), but more likely will arrive tomorrow and I will give these a serious look and provide the feedback they asked for in return for the free cases.
