auto rotate is not faster.

Browser has more options when using Labs.

Only got 1600 on quadrent....on the leaf test was getting 5 GPS.

YouTube views load a lot quicker.

No he support on USB host mode.

Have mixed feelings about the update...

Oh and last thing browser goes into a flickering ghost image mode every now and than combining the previous web page with the current one.

Thank you, but in 3.0 us rom was not there (only english, french and spanish), anyone that can check in the real 3.1 fw availabilty of italian.

Thank you.
Yep, good question. The sdk system image is the one used for the emulator, not the Xoom image.

Can anyone check which locales are supported? Setting -> Language & input -> Select Language

Thanks

Yeah I've seen as high as about 1900 in Quadrant... I was getting 3657 with Tiamat 1.4.1...

The Launcher is still slow in portrait and upside down orientations. I've switched to ADW Launcher EX for now.
Wtf. You'd think a basic performance and user experience issue like this would be one of the first things they'd fix.

Are we going to have to wait until ICS so that we can scroll properly?

- Browser performance has improved
- Flash performance has improved
- HTML5 support
- New highlighting of checked items in gmail/mail client
- USB peripheral support (haven't tested)
- Storage broken down into media types (apps/photos/videos/etc) under settings menu
- Hitting "back" in the market goes back to where you were instead of kicking you back to the top of the list which was very annoying
- You can force a check for future OTA updates with a "check now" button
- Camera/Gallery views are MUCH improved - images are sharp and crisp like they should be.
- Resizeable widgets (requires developer to change an attribute in their xml) - Stock gmail/mail/calendar/bookmarks are all resizeable
- DRM support gives us music and movie purchases now, I hope netflix is soon to follow.

I'm sure there's more. A couple things broke but I suspect they'll get fixed right away (paradise island app doesnt work now, boo hoo)

Oh also, the shortcut to your movie editor will probably be broken. After updating... remove the shortcut and re-add it.

I was already a fan of the stock email and gmail widgets, but making them resizable just made them so much better! Now I can see my last 20 or so emails at a glance (have them both as big as possible on one screen), which is a good thing when you get a lot of important email or when its Monday morning and you're "off" and everyone in every department feels the need to email you before you wake up. I bet if I favorite a bunch of heavy sites and make the bookmarks widget take up a whole screen I could make this thing grind to a halt

Thats something I definitely see from time to time and I'm still on 3.0.1 so thats not something that was introduced in 3.1
