I ordered this 4 cases plus the Whitestone Done Glass as well.

I ordered the ArmadilloTek case, Spigen tough armor, encased rebel armor, and the Samsung rugged case.

Out of all 4 the ArmadilloTek has the best front lip, 2nd would be the encased but seems that it would cause issues with the dome glass when trying to insert it was mostly hitting it so likely over time it could raise the protector up. The third best is the Spigen tough armor and last is the Samsung rugged case but the Samsung rugged case barely has any.

The ArmadilloTek case is thinner than many other of its category and still enough protection which I've been using. I've always have used Spigen tough armor as I have had drop experience. I got the Samsung rugged case due to promotion but thought it would be a tad better on the front lip as well.

The encased has the possible issue with the protector, just didn't want to force it in as don't have a spare of the dome glass. But the other issue I have with it is the protection near s pen, seems to be somewhat lacking only has a straight line that seems a bit flimsy where most of the rest has 3 to 4 corners protected with still easy access to s pen.

Was interested with ghostek case as well but too much without knowing if it had the same issue as the encased.

But this is my thoughts on these cases.

First two in:
I will be interested in what you think as I ordered the same UAG and Samsung rugged cases as well as the ArmadilloTek.

Tried them all for about 3 hours each today and think I am going to go with the UAG (even though 3 times the price!). My subjective opinion of each:

UAG
Pros
- Good solid case with sufficient bumpers to protect the phone without feeling too bulky.
- Have used UAG on Note 5, 7, 8 and 9 with no issues. Never had a problem with the edges becoming loose over time
- Most importantly it feels good to hold. I like the feel of its texture and it has subtle, slightly soft ridges down the sides that prevent the prevent phone from slipping, but aren't hard on the hands.
Cons
Expensive!
No built in kick stand

Samsung
Really wanted to like this case, but the rubbery sides made my hands feel sweaty
Pros
- Looks like it is well made and fits well.
- Kick stand
Cons
- Unpleasant to hold

ArmadilloTek
Pros
- Case that looks like it would protect the phone the best out of the 3.
- Has ridges down sides to prevent phone from slipping - but they feel much more "hard plastic" than the equivalent UAT ones.
- Kick stand
Cons
- Largest of the 3 cases as it has the inner plastic liner that you have to put on top.
- Hated the buttons. They hardly stick out so I kept finding I had to look at the phone to locate the button. Also all 3 buttons are hard to push so adjusting the volume was a pain.
- Case felt very hard to the touch. I tired of holding it after a short period

How's the glass back for rejecting fingerprints?
Been using my case for 3 days already and I like it.(post#19) Not much finger prints on the back or they aren't too persistent, the shiny aura glow back looks clear. Beside that, the phone feels comfortable in hand, the case keeps the phone look thin because of that black frame around sides and totally transparent back.

Had anyone used the Samsung silicone one? I saw it at best buy and it is very low profile. My order was moved to much later so has to get a case from Amazon

I'm using the Samsung Clear View case, the one with the notification under a clear display strip. I'm impressed as case slim and functional and as a Samsung Member got it for 50% discount.

So I started this thread because I was unsure. Now fast forward and I have two Torras cases, two Samsung Cases and an ERS for ****s and giggles.

On the Torras. For the price, their clear clear tpu is a really well fit and sleek case. It's the case that reminds me how svelt the phone is. Also Dat shiny AG blinder.

I also have the Blue ridged Torras. I like it but not a huge fan. The color on TPU makes the phone look cheap IMO. All things considered Torras is a really solid buy. The micro dot goes all the way into the sides and that makes a nice difference between them and the other cheap clear TPU brands.

The two Samsung cases are the Leather (probably my every day) and it feels exactly like the apple leather which is IMO one of the best phone cases ever.

The other is the LED wallet. Now here is the thing. I hate wallets. I love wallets. I don't know but it's a daily struggle. If you are into wallets then this is the sleekest and nicest wallet I've used. The faux fabric makes it grippy and the close is that perfect curve to make your pocket not have a hard cover mini Bible in it.

OH and for now the ERS is just a myth since I had it I my drawer and I think my five year old stole it. Therefore it's in the missing **** list in my house like so many other electronic accessories. If you've found my clear glass ERS case, please ask him to come home.

I always go with a belt clip and a case with a kick stand. This Supcase UB is almost identical to the Youmaker case I have on my Note 8. My Note 8 has survived a ton of drops in 2 years with no cracks, just a small scratch that hasn't grown since I 1st noticed it about 6 months ago. The new Supcase for the 10+ arrived yesterday. It's just a little taller and wider than the Note 8 case.

I love the Supcase, I had one for my S9+ and it was awesome. Last year that added that cheap plastic screen protector to most all of the rugged cases. I'm glad they removed it again this year. I just ordered one for $19 on Amazon, was $28 at Supcase site

What do you mean by the front lip is bad on the Sammy Rugged? I'm using that rugged ase on my Note 9 until I get my 10 Monday. I've like the case just fine but I dont use a screen protector.

Also have you tried the Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro? If so, how does it compare to the ArmadilloTek as they appear somewhat similar?

The front lip on the Samsung Rugged is perfectly fine. As my boy would say, it's slam boy certified.

Which color did you get? I am looking for silver. Did you see it anywhere? Thx!
Were you able to change color of the notifications when case is closed?

Grey which is actually silver. Bought online from Samsung as for 50% discount with Samsung Members. Not managed to change colours but not bothered.

I smashed the front of my Note 10 already with the Samsung silicone case on (I knew it wasn't going to be a step up from naked, it doesn't protect the front at all) and so I need to get another one. Back to the drawing board.

Did the samsung rugged cover the front so it wasn't so exposed?
