I bought this from Dealextreme SKU.48826; surprising it was able to provide the 2A rating to charge my TAB; very pleased with it.

I image that if you had multiple devices plugged in it would charge slower. I have a three port rated at 1.5 and with two or more deviced plugged in it slows the charge down (1.5a for one device, 1a and 500ma for Tab and Phone, 500ma each for three devices).

I just wish it had folding blades.

Caught wind of this yesterday too and am very intrigued, wonder if they will release it with a UK adapter and whether it will work with my Tab. Might be a very nice solution to carry for charging my Desire too and avoid having to carry multiple plug adapters.

Thanks for this, think I would prefer to get a slightly longer cable than the stock one. Does this charge too?

Note that there are mainly 2 lengths for these generic cables, 80cm and 120cm.

We have the 120cm one for US$4.70 plus shipping in case anyone needs the extra length.
