Not having issues with Vivo account.
Few minutes ego tried it and re enter the known password and accepted normally.

Vivo account has nothing to do with Vivo battery management services.
Ok, I'm just trying to understand. So the issue WAS caused by the deleting of the files?

No was caused by an idiot that tried to mess up with Vivo account and screw up the password.

Vivo account has nothing to do with removing Vivo battery management.

So what's the status now? Are you still having issues? Did you remove the battery management files and had issues after your last update? Or were the issues strictly related to the changing of the password on the Vivo public account?

Your issues were strictly due to the changing of the password, correct? Not the removal of the files?
No issue at all the removal of com.vivo.pem

Is it complicated process to do, and can you back-up beforehand on the phone or do you have to copy files to a PC? No Vivo account that is
No there’s no backup process once you uninstall any kind services or app the only way to restore it is by doing hard reset your device.

No Vivo account required for uninstalling anything you want.

The only other solution is Vivo officially completely remove aggressively behavior of their own battery management.

But they don’t listen our feedback so we are left on our own.

Hello everybody, did any of you noticed that the battery SOT is worse after uninstalling the com.vivo.pem?
Cheers~
Not at all.
Is good as before.
Vivo battery management was a nightmare never Vivo should implement those garbage.

Android battery management is enough not needed extra services.

We want and buying smartphone and not future-dumb phones as Vivo unacceptable wants for their device with stupid software restrictions and hilarious services.

When bought Chinese version end of June global version didn't exist.:silly:

It took over 2 months later when you could purchase it from on line store.

On the other hand IMO the only visual different between Chinese and global version is that global does not have Chinese bloatware and Vivo account issue like Chinese,BUT it has the same restrictions as well as same philosophy meaning the same aggressive battery management that killed anything working on the background out of box.;)

So neither global version was or is a solution but simple user of that phone need to take further action like removing Vivo auful battery management services.

And now working like a charm.

The biggest drawback with chinese version for international users is the smart button become pretty much useless, you can remap it..but I did not succeed to do it.. I think the chinese version probably get more updates it might be a benifit.

Regarding battery mangement.. I have heard that it does not shut down apps the same way the Chinese version does.
Anyway funtouch 4.5 is around the corner I hope it has an overall improvement.. But honestly... its high time to redesign it and release 5.0 Vivo need to re imagined to the software little bit. I dont think they should leave the iOS look of the OS I think it looks refreshing for being android device.. its always been kind of obvious that iOS have won people over who prefer a stylish design of the OS, android has never been that. When comes to software Vivo is right now traveling the same path as huawei did... vivo will also be forced to make the software more adapted to the international users, chinese population have a kind of specific taste in software that does not really work internationally.

Yes you are probably right but I think I remember in the global rom notifications are whitelisted/enabled out of the box compared to the Chinese version where you have to do this manually.
