My voice listening feature is working, but the Google Search app force closes every time I do a search, manually or voice activated. The thing is, the search goes through after 5-7 seconds, and when it starts to display the answer, it force closes. :/
having the same thing search engine works but force close.[/QUOTE]

Mine is doing the same thing. It noticed if you leave it on English UK it will work.

Have you tried doing the "change language to uk, do a search, change lanquage back to english"? If so you might try doing a couple searches on the uk side before changing back to english. Ive had it not work on 1 search but work on 2 so maybe there is a correlation...
In the comments of this article there is a guy who has a link to a lib file. You must be rooted and you will just have to trust it. I used it and my Google search has yet to force close, I have even been able to keep it on US so that it is always listening. It's not my file so I will not link directly to it. http://phandroid.com/2013/10/31/nex...ad/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter

Edit: as you know back up and use at your own risk.

Anyone else getting Knox alerts (i.e., "An application has been forced to stop...") since installing the Google Experience stuff?
Mine started doing that recently. Do you have Wanam installed? You can get rid of the notifications with that. You will also need Xposed Framework installed. You can do wonders with those 2 installed.

I'm not rooted. However, I did find that force stopping Knox and clearing data seems to have stopped the alerts. Not sure if using the Google Experience Launcher will bring them back, though.

Not rooter?! What?! :)

I'm not sure when mine started to complain. I'm not really a fan of KNOX. I don't even really know what its purpose is. LOL!

Anyone having issues where when you touch one of the cards in Google Now, Google search crashes? I use Google Now a lot, and unfortunately with all the crashing, I can't use the Google Launcher. Everything works fine when I revert it back to the stock launcher.

p.s., I'm not rooted.

Yeah I did this when it was first leaked and I've kept it, I really like it My only thing know is if I should use Hangouts with the built in SMS support or switch back to Facebook messanger with SMS support, something that I really like (with chat heads) and that integrates all my contacts I usually use into one. My only serious issue is the lack of FB Messanger support on the Galaxy Gear.

I have installed all three apps but I Dont have the always listening feature working. Is there a certain order that they have to be installed in? Any other special dependencies that need to be met? I've done the process of searching and changing laguages but not always listening working. The search works but I have to hit the button and it doesn't say "Say OK Google" to search. Any ideas?
I just installed GEL and I now find that the "Ok Google" prompt only appears when I tap the search bar. However, the hotword detection is working for me even when the "Ok Google" prompt is absent.

Have you tried going into settings --voice recognition and downloading offline language (us english)

As soon as you do that you should be able to use "OK Google" function
