Htc ONE a.k.a. M7. Supposed to be launched in U.S. in the next few weeks.
Is this before or after HTC fixes the millions of other devices that have huge security flaws?

Also I'm NOT impressed with the one at all. I mean the phone isn't even out yet and still only runs 4.1.2. For those of you who don't know 4.1.x was riddled with bugs, yet HTC choose this version for a flagship device? Also the new Snapdragon 600 is nothing more than the S4Pro with different memory bands. IIRC it's 7 A.M here and I just woke up so I'm kind of groggy but anyways GET THE **** AWAY FROM HTC. They are stealing your personal info along with giving third party the ability to as well, their update schedule SUCKS and if you think for one minute it will keep it's "bad ass" camera on anything other then Sense your crazy. So once KLP drops you ONE users are **** out of luck. But hey that's just my opinion. I've only used HTC for the last 5 years or more.

Darn you and your relentless logic. The other stuff aside, I hadn't thought about the camera and can't believe I forgot about the single android update speedy got. Hoping it may be better since they are supposedly suspending work on some other phones to focus on the ONE.

I thought about getting this phone but I don't think it's that much of an upgrade over my EVO lte. Shame because the build quality seems superb other than that I can't bring myself to get this phone. Not even the lead developer for the ltes viper rom is getting it.

LoL i get that a lot with some other developers. I kill their GREAT idea with logic somehow. :D

Anyways with the latest FTC ruling i dont think HTC can afford to stop development on anything because they have to fix them flaws in carrier IQ and Smith.apk :D

I think it will be one hell of an upgrade for you. Right now you have a dual core S4 processor and the ONE has the Snapdragon 600 which is two revisions newer, not to mention the updated GPU. It will perform as well as my Nexus and this is the fastest device hands down.

I may go see my cousin just to run it against the Note 2 in real world usage. I seen the dogfight video BUT

I don't like synthetic benchmarks because my Nexus isn't optimized to run benchmarks. ( check Google if you have doubt ) And it still keeps up synthetically with everything.

Can't we just delete carrier IQ and Smith or are they important?

Seeing as the sg4 has been confirmed to be using the snapdragon 600(US version)there really won't be anything that will beat it spec wise since it will be one of the most
