Well. Its been a couple days. But I finally have my One. I love it. The device is smooth. The screen is beautiful. Development is already well underway imo. I still have my shift and will be using it as a wifi device and backup device. So of course I'll still be flashing all the new roms that catch my attention here! It's been a very fun two years.

I was looking at the rooting process for the One and the EVO 4GLTE and it seems pretty easy. I'm still leaning toward Samsung right now. Came close to getting an SIII this past week but still can't decide between that or HTC. Let us know how it goes for you and don't be a stranger.

Dude, check out evervolv 4.2.2!! Apparently the 3.0 kernel is mostly done and preludedrew is gonna look into getting wimax working

I just got my SG3 after having a evo shift and the rooting process was easy only took about 3 minutes now ready for some flashing roms.

I just got a GS3 on Verizon network Friday (which was my 30th bday btw). Sprint service around here just is not growing and they have been surpassed by basically everyone else. I stuck with them for 13 years and it was time for me to go. I still have my shift for now, to play with. I hated to depart with my Evo3D I got from my wife when she switched to VZW but this S3 is waaaay more phone than the 3d. The shift was my first smart phone, and I loved it. Definitely going to miss the slideout keyboard but I've been grooming myself to use swype leading up to this change.
