@Isun: So you only set to factory settings and wiped everything on Moray-Rom (to get the Google-Account-Initialisation of the Moray-Rom - and then restore the nandroid of the Moray...)?
Or do you need to use the Google-Account-Initialisation of the stock Rom?

Links to both of these recoveries are also in the first post of this thread. ;)
I am currently running the one that has instructions for adb, (R4c-100611-1150)

Im ADB doesnt pick up the device either.....

Rouge recovery only has instructions for instalation through recovery...

CWM still isnt picking up the SD Card and the bootloop has happened again :/

Edit for :

[Q] does the external SD Card have anything to do with it? I just took the zoom out of the case and noticed the SD tray was slightly popped open, i pushed it back and booted up first try...could this have been my problem the whole time? Also recovery seems to be reading SD again.

I guess your external sdcard was physically unmounted or partially mounted so no boot up and no recovery. That makes sense.

Hi guys, my first post here! But I a long time I read this forum.

I did O'C to 1.7 two times! And two times I had bootloops! Two times I forgot "set on boot" =(, but to solve this (two times :p) I put my xoom under a big ice and I could set it back to 1.6.

I hope this could help someone before try to wipe.

That is an interesting solution. Although you should not "set on boot" until you know the speed you are setting is stable.

Do you really mean ice as in 'frozen water?'

Now I've tested various things to get all missing apps in market (f.e. the app "bunny shooter free" and "klondike solitaire" are missing in market on moray (2.2.1) / german Xoom 3g) - but I havn't found a way yet:

1. Wipe everything > made the Google-Account-Initialisation of the moray rom > restore of last moray-nandroid = apps are missing in the marked

2. Wipe everything > restore nandroid of stock 3.1-rom > wipe everything again > made the Google-Account-Initialisation of the stock-rom = app are in in the market (!) > restore of last moray-nandroid = apps are missing in the market (tested with an without wiping everything after moray-retore)

3. Restore moray-nandroid > wipe everything > copy the build.prop of the stock 3.1 to system = xoom hangs on bootscreen (on the moray-water-bootscreen)

Conclusion:
It's not the Google-Account-Initialisation :-( It could work with the correct build.prop or market version (1.0.28 and 3.1.6 are not working/showing all apps)...

Thanks, but not what I was looking for. Although this may come in handy if I mess up something. But I restored my Nandroid backup the night I was trying this ROM.

What I meant was is there a way to get this ROM working with 3G and 4G? I would really like some of the features Tiamat has, along with the data connection I'm paying for.

Agreed. Were waiting for a 3.2.2 ROM. Can't wait.

Hey guys, just installed Moray 2.2.2 and loving it! One question though.
Does anyone know how to remove the dragon wallpapers? I don't think I'll be using them. I would also like to get the original glowy hex wallpaper back, without the dragon head inside the hexagon.

What is left after unlocking Verizon Xoom 4gLTE and custom rom?

ok, so I ordered the verizon xoom @ $199 special. I have a droid 3, which I rooted and am very happy with. My question is according to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1242241 all apps and data will be erased. I can accept that, but what is in the custom rom? Will I have basic apps like stock without the bloatware?

And, is my 4g going to work with this ROM or not? Some say yes, others have issues...or so it appears. I don't want a brick, or even 1/2 what i am paying for. I want / need root, but i also want my tablet to function correctly.

Thanks in advance.
