I'll only buy International variant- hopefully I can still use it on T-Mobile w\o losing triple 5G carrier aggregation.
I'll prolly trade in 10T(which I never used because 8T working fine & 11 specs were leaked soon after), but keeping its 150W charger.

Sorry I missed this. Amazon is co-participating in the Feb 7 Live Launch event, and their listing specs are 80W charging, 256\16gb. Two colors- jade green & moonstone black.

Ah ok. I'll order directly from OnePlus. I can deal with slightly slower charging and I usually transfer files via WiFi, so USB 2.0 isn't an issue. I'm nearly full on my 8T, and it would be a deal breaker to move to another phone with only 256GB.

I just visited OP Store US website and they are offering reservations for up to $500 off on trade-in Launch Day, price will be revealed then.
BUT....only offering 8\128 or 16\256gb models- w\ 100W charger- which BTW they also call Super VOOC. So I have hopes 10T's 150W charger will work appropriately faster on 11- it charges 8T a little faster than its own original charger.

Hopefully they add the 512gb model. 256 model still tempting because of tons of advancements + not planning 11 Pro \ the Alert Slider is back \ display back from 9 Pro is also very tempting: QHD 120hz AMOLED LPTO 3 adaptive refresh down to 1hz...that combined with the new Snapdragon & UFS 4 & LPPDR 5 they say uses up 30% less battery + runs cooler. And will support Triple\Quadruple 5G Aggregation.
I never update phone yearly but there're just too many advancements back to back- w\o Samsung \ iPhone pricing.

Re 8T charging- I only got it 9 months ago but use heavily- charge 2-3X daily- going strictly by charging time, I notice no dropoff. I have a theory that none of the charging apps appropriately measure such high capacities. The numbers shown during charging comparing 8T & 10T- whether on 65 or 150W bricks, don't vary much. You only notice the significant differences in the the actual time it takes (And yes, checked & toggled various system settings)
I have noticed a couple of things:
A. The ubiquitous multiple outlet strips provide less capacity than plugging directly into wall- even with only one item plugged in-

B. As stated before, 10T's 150W brick charges @ bit higher power the 8T. Maybe I'll buy another one as spare.

C. Cable can fray & separate internally if not real careful- this occurred with OP Nord N10. (Even in that state still fast charges various Samsung & LG phones & tablets- shows how far behind all others are behind OP)

And won't have the proper bands for US carriers nor will it be whitelisted for AT&T.

It's missing B71 as well as n71 and n25 which means poor performance on T-Mobile. It is likely missing 3.45GHz n77 as well because there's no reason to certify that on a Chinese device and T-Mobile is preparing to deploy that at the end of the year.

It's missing B13 which means no Verizon support. The omission of mmWave significantly impacts many larger Verizon markets too.

It's missing B14, B29, B30 as well as their 5G counterparts and likely is missing 3.45GHz n77 as well as mentioned above but unlike T-Mobile, AT&T has already been deploying this as a number of their markets they can't use the rest of their n77 holdings until 2024 (mine included).

Anyone buying these phones for US use will definitely experience problems.

Looks like it supports these bands:
4G: B1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/17/18/19/20/26/28A/66.
5G: n1/n3/n5/n7/n8/n20/n28A/n38/n40/n41/n66/n77/n78.

I have both VZW and TMO. The lack of n260/n261 means no ultra wide 5G for either of those companies. Verizon uses n77 for 5G, but I'm not sure how much they've deployed it. My 8T doesn't have n77 so I can't test.

In my area, I see my phone mostly use 2/5/66 for both VZW and TMO, 13 for VZW and 12 for TMO. Verizon's 5G NSA doesn't seem any better than 4G in my area, but it's fast for TMO (600+ Mbps), however, VZW gets service where TMO doesn't.

I guess I'll hold out for the 11T and hope OnePlus increases storage and adds the mmWave bands.

I am NYC and using Verizon, I have OnePlus 11 Chinese version in hand and can confirm 4G works but not 5G, hope once I convert to Oos 5G will work

What if you force the phone to use 5G? (Dial *#4636#*#* > phone information > Set preferred network type: NR/LTE)

Yep, that's what I expected. Even further, if you tried to activate new service with that phone instead of swapping your SIM, it probably would get rejected, as Verizon doesn't whitelist phones that lack B13.

I had to do this to enable 5G for VZW on my phone to use NR/LTE/...., but I'm still on A11. A12 and A13 OOS should already have it. Perhaps the OP 11 with ColorOS doesn't have the proper configuration to connect to North America 5G networks.

I believe TMO focused on 5G NSA whereas VZW focused more on their UltraWide 5G or 5G SA, which is why my VZW 5G speeds aren't much better than 4G. If I set my phone to NR only, I have no signal, so it seems I'm limited to 5G NSA (NR/LTE).

I thought no more 11s- Pro or T planned.
Anywho, even if I'm wrong about T, dollars to doughnuts they'll downgrade something on it.

I'm so ready for e-Sim, 512gb & beefier battery like being done with their tablet- hopefully that won't cost 1K.
