I got the same problem as Krayziepop...

"Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. You might need to reinstall or restore this file"

Check this out...
  • I have Streaming Media and TCPMP installed
  • But going to http://m.youtube.com in IE and clicking any [Play Video] links do NOT work - I get "Failed to connect to network" message every time
  • However - if I "share" the video w/myself (emailing it to my Yahoo email on my phone) the PLAY VIDEO link in the email DOES work!

I may be wrong but this makes me think this has nothing to do w/whatever WIFI/3G connection I'm on at all. It's 100% consistent that SHARED LINKS via email *do* work, but DIRECT LINKS from inside IE at m.youtube.com *do not* work!

Anyone else have this weird behavior?

Read the YouTube Bible (it's sticky) and use an FLV / H.264 client instead of the crappy 3GPP.

"If you don’t have Streaming Media on your Windows Mobile handheld (because it’s WM5 only or a WM6 Smartphone and not a Pocket PC), get and install THIS file. Note that if it doesn’t exist, you can get it from HERE (make sure you unRAR the latter to get the CAB file). Also note that you can safely install the CAB file to a storage card."

Installing HTC streaming Media gave me an error on my HP IPAQ 514 "path not found or parts missing"

sound

hey anyone know how to make the audio quality better? it seems to be handicapped. no highs at all and sounds muffled with this streamer. With tcpmp or whatever it was cleaner if not 100% clean. im on a wizard with wm6.1

Don't bother with Mobile YouTube - it simply can't be made better. Go for the full version; see my Youtube bible (sticky).

i got the coreplayer and use that to view vids, but I can only do rtsp medium. anything higher gives that unknown file format issue (which im sure is just due to coreplayer needing an update to stay compatible with utube.)

it seems to work swell. i still have tcp and the streaming thing that comes with wm installed so if i see anything on a website i can still see it. Now next is getting porn!

that solved it. thanks. i do have buffering problems on the highest qualities (both) so i use the flv medium. i have to test it some I think i have buffering problems there 2, so I may just keep it low. It's good to know though that I can watch it in any format, and how easy it is to watch those videos as youtube is builtin. More optimized than going to the real youtube site.
