My data recovery program is unable to detect my phone, as the title. I need to make the phone get recognized as a disk drive, like what old Android phones does. None of any similar online solutions were helpful.

Doesn't work.
Android phones only use MTP nowadays.
The only way to get it into USB Data Mode is in Recovery... BUT now it comes... Android 12 can't decrypt internal Storage.
So if you're on Android 11, lucky. On android 12. no chance.

Luckily I'm still on Android 11. Can flash tool or similar tools help it?

No. You can pull data via Fastboot. But what you want is USB Mode. Which can only be accessed from inside TWRP.
