Yes, this is quite false. And here's one good sign -- T-Mobile's CMO just said the Vibrant is getting Froyo tomorrow. That can only bode well for the rest of the U.S. Galaxy S variants.

it seems likely that development is towards the new phone coming next month.
I'm not sure what's left in the dredges for the "old" fascinate, but the new one probably has all the 2.2+++ energy behind it.
