NBC Sports?

Thanks for all that you guys do in this and the old thread. I'm slow to update as most of my household are macs and getting these apks from my mac to the fireTv is problematic (one problem at a time!). I downloaded the aptoideTV apk this morning ( I know 2 steps above newbie) to try out the nbc sports app there-it gives me an error on load. Is there any way to not have to load the amazon store to use the nbc sports app? My directv app modifed -no amazon is working and I just don't want to screw with that.

Achilles: any chance you can extract the updated version of NBC Sports? Seems like they merged both NBC Sports and NBC Sports Gold into a new NBC Sports app, latest version of the NBC Sports app is 4.0 as per the Amazon app store.
While I'm at it, on either NBC Sports or NBC Sports Gold I can't seem to even reach 720p from their streams which is odd, I wonder if they're manually setting a max bitrate value on the Fire TV app for some reason. Has someone experienced the same thing?

Why is it that ad removal works on some networks and not others? Anyone know?

I don't know the answer but I noticed that after installing the HBR modded app last week, that i was getting ads on all networks over the last few days. I uninstalled/reinstalled the same apk and the ads are now gone again. I'm not sure how the app could be updated since i have never installed the Amazon store..

I guess I'm asking if anyone else noticed this. I think I see it on Bravo and CW. Just wanted to be sure it's normal for now.

I did install that one and it occurs to me now that I have not rooted my shield which I am guessing is a factor(?). The app itself works great for me, definitely no complaints, more of a curiosity. I have only had the shield for a month and haven't looked into much beyond the DTV app.

I'll run thru on demand shows for a whole bunch of networks and post results. As the other person you replied to said, I have definitely seen ads on Bravo. I know there were no ads on SyFy immediately after install but there were ads a week later for the same show.

You do NOT need to root your Shield.

You blinded me??, but i got good news most apps are up!!, still need to release the HBR_Adrem_Root one that should be up tomorrow, had a slight error when I was compiling the app and it was already late so I didn't have time to fix it.

So I have Decide to release multiple versions of each released until I get burnt out lol
I’ll be releasing the Original Amazon APKs for DTV Now and ATT Watch TV, Modified APKs (amazon verification removed) ,

HBR (high bitrate video/audio and amazon verification removed) if you are using any amazon apps that are not modified they will not work when the HBR apks are installed. The base apk that I use for the HBR mods is the one that has the amazon verification removed
and
HBR_Adrem_Root (HBR with On-demand ads removed, root support also amazon verification removed)
This APK for now will only be Available for DTV Now for the time being, need to run tests for the ATT app and see if that works. If you using any other amazon apps that are NOT modified, please do not install this version. It will break the unmodified apps

Yes I always follow the same steps when uploading. Turns out I still had the Amazon store installed and was using the HBR mod file. I uninstalled both DTVN and the Amazon store, then re-installed my cloned file with location spoof that I originally created and now it's working fine.
