thnx guys you really rocked the windows mobile and sony erricson world the result is i
just installed all of the uploaded on original but poluted uk rom there is no important problems , just the dialer doesn't work in landscape (which is no biggy)
and there is a little problem after soft reset it bringas up everything in less than minute or 2 but its laggy for about 2-4 min after you are in todayscreen , after that it runs better than x1's interface , in my case all of the programs were laggy till i installed the x2 driver , the tilewave panel works perfect , cnn doens't have any problems , spb mobile shell 3.5 works like charm there is no conflict and the usage is about 70.9 mb it goes to 150 at highest usage i had, there is no effect on garmin although i get some problems with x2 youtube panel it won't play ??? panel manager is so fast and smoth but experincing problem with facebook panel (just the image) the city panels and growing panel still wont work , but in general its really better than x1

Do I have to have the newest Panal manager to exit the 3D Tile panel?????. I have the original one from the X1 and won't let me exit I have to restart my phone to exit which is a shame because I really like the Tile panel. Does anybody know why this is happening. Edit: 1. Kill process PanelManager.exe and related. I'm still new to the X1 how do we do this thx in advance .

Yes you do need the X2 panel manager. Either download from the first page or in my signature.

Go to Task Manager and kill process PanelManager.exe

Then use File Explorer or Total Commander (preferably) and on your device go to Program Files and delete the folder PanelManager.

Now install the X2 PanelManager.

DONE!

Instead of asking for requests with the new ported X2 programs, why don't you and everyone else wait a while before making such requests. It hasn't even been a week yet and we've come a long way making these programs available for the X1. There are still a lot of bugs to be worked out so asking such requests are a bit out there right now. We need to try and get all problems resolved before making any custom requests. Who would've thought in less than a week we would've had almost ported everything from the X2? Not myself for one...I thought it would've taken at least a couple weeks or at least a month...not a week!

Anyone tried PMLauncher and find it slow? I installed and it made my panel manager very jittery. I uninstalled it because, while making a cool flipping animation, it made it near unusable. If anyone knows of a solution, or if it just my device please respond.

EDIT: Seems like after initial load it runs real smooth. Seems pointless for now, though. I suppose once Slideview is available it'll make more sense.

Hi there, first of all I must be cursed, i went to post for the first time to help out and the forum crashed
So its my first post and I just wanted to thank everyone on the forum for everything they have contributed and the time they have put into everything to bring out all these awesome applications/mods for the Xperia and other phones.

To make 'XT9' Default:
i) Open your registry editor (PHM, Resco, etc).
ii) Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sip
iii) Change DefaultIm's string value to
{CE1763BB-8E63-4549-0946-BE242E3FE78C}
iv) Soft-reset.

Hi Ganondolf, I just wanted to say that before i read this post by you and Ethermind i had already done this fix and it is working fine on my X1, I have attached some screen shots of my phone registry. When i did the fix i didn't get the reg key from another post i went through KEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID in the registry and found the XT9 keyboard in there manually but it seems to have the same name as the one that Ethermind has posted. maybe it is different on yours? Let me know how you go.


On another note, has anyone has any problems with the Tilewave panel crashing the Panel Manager? I am currently running a Stock Telstra ROM R1AA021 (just got it back from warranty and haven't flashed it again) and i tried the default panel manger which wouldn't let me go back to the panel manager. I then found posted by someone that you have to update the panel manger so i did to the X2 Panel manager and on startup the panel manager would crash, so i installed the R3A panel manager and that did the same thing then i tried R2A and the same thing so i have stopped using the Tilewave panel. Has anyone has this problem? i haven't tried installing that Java Machine yet, would that fix it??

Java cab is not working for me. It installs sucessfuly but there is no icon in start menu and jar/jad files launch old jblend. In program files\Myriad there are only Java_Powered_25.gif, logo_2.gif, setup.dll and style.css. No exe files.

EDIT: Xtract works, but after fireball hit me, game freezes.
EDIT2: that other game also works, but at object falling tutorial, when crate falls of the sky, game freezes.
