after i uninstall x2 taskmanager, the old icon taskmanager on the top-right conner disappeared anymore. please anybody hepl me to restore the old manager. i use win 6.1. Thanks alot

Go on start settings system and go to manage application (sorry do not know the exact name as i am running an italian rom) then click on button and reactivate the quck menu on today

for now i'm still using x1i stock R3 rom....still reading all these threads for the best rom....as i said..still new to winmo....slowly but surely i pick my choice of rom later...

I just made a X2-specific ROM for this purpose (a 100% pure XPERIA ROM over WM6.5, keeping a similar base to my X2's CE|OS buid), you may want to check it out:

Thank for your rely but i don't understant exactly what dia you want to show me.
after i uninstall x2 taskmanager, soft reset, and go to the setting/system/task manager and active the button but the task icon on the right-top corner disapper.
How can i restore the old task manager??????

The new task manager works only if you install also the X2 panel manager. In case you don't want, then just simply uninstall the new X2 task manager and go to reactivate the old one as i said before. Soft reset and should be there again

one thing i noticed.. i have the panelmanager.exe and the new x2 panelmmanager running at the same time. is this supposed to happen? also, is taskmanagerquickmenu.exe relateed to x2??

MAybe you did not kill and unistalled the original panel manager...

tilewave calendar issue's

searched and searched but couldn't find if anyone else has had this issue. in tilewave all works great but in my calendar it shows i have 11 entries but today i have none. all dates show jan 2 this just started when december rolled around. didn't have a problem last month. hope that makes sence. any help would be great thanks

I tried NRGZ28's 28004 rom which has the Task Manger icon where the start menu is so you can select it without it conflicting with the Notifications. Does anyone here know what registry setting is necessary to modify to get it to go to the top left as opposed to the top right?

I have the same issue too.. it depends how tilewave is loaded and if panelprocesses.exe had a crash... more I don't know..

it works fine until i change any of the settings then it screws up the i thought it was when i patched it but i tracked it down to changing any of the settings. any ideas??

update: it only happens when you change the weather city's then it's screwed for good. you can actually activate one of the three non activated cities and on the home city (san salvador) the calendar will be normal, switch to the one that i activated (barcelona) and calendar is all screwed.........??

I've been trying these on various roms, xperia 1.5 by spikegotti which has the x2 dailer included had fullscreen caller id but on some others i only get a small caller id image, anyone been experiencing this or am i freaking out.

i have noticed this too. on the cab dialer on the r3 6.1 rom.

i think its how u originally saved the pic to the contact. the contact that i saved a pic to from the standard contacts comes up small but when i saved a pic through spb shell (file, camera or facebook pic) comes fall screen. im guessing that when u save a pic to the normal contacts it makes a small thumbnail and spb saves a bigger thumbnail to the contact (once the pic is added using spb shell it is saves to normal contact file so if u remove the shell the pics are still on the contacts. also if u have already saves pics to contacts then add the spb shell, the pics are small till u change them using the "change contact pic" option in the shell).

It is very easy to make fullscreen photo.
Just delete photo from contact and reassign it thru x2 dialer dialog "Assign photo to contact".

Well i treid many times, maybe i did something wrong, but with the original rom with wm6.1 i was not able to make it work at all

I use Spikegotti's UnOff V11 or V12 - don't remember exactly which one. It seems (as expected) that not all the X2 software runs flawlessly - for instance, I have problems with Myriad Java - JBenchmark Pro quits automatically when I try to run any test.

Currently I have the CommManager, TaskManager, X2 drivers and Myriad Java. I'm very satisfied with the TaskManager and the X2 drivers. CommManager is cool although a bit slow on startup. Myriad Java is fast, but not polished in my opinion.

Unfortunately I don't have 6.5.3 ROM so I can't help you at this point.
