really? mine works just fine.
Maybe it's an issue of my system configuration and/ or the fact that I'm still on WM 6.1. I really like the X2 panel manager but I want a phone that works reliably and therefore I reverted to the original panel manager where everything just works. It's not that shiny and the auto panel switching of the X2 panel manager is great but at least the X1 panel manager does what it is supposed to. That's also the reason why I'm still running WM 6.1. I don't want to struggle with all the shortcomings that come with a custom rom (like messed up phone dialer...). And honestly what could be done with a 6.5 rom that can't with 6.1?

I had installed the X2panel manager one week ago on spikegottis 6.5 rom , now i have heared that it works on a clean 6.1 rom better, so i changed to newest 6.1 rom via SEupdate service and installed the X2panel manager . Now the pannelmanager exe do not work when i push the panel button or when i try to start it via the file explorer . What i have to do ?

I could solve this myself. There where still some registry entries I had forgotten to adapt. Found them by searching the registry. But now I have another question: I realised that besides the panelmanager.exe there are constantly 6 instances of panelprocess.exe running. One that consumes a relatively big amount of ram for the panel currently in use and 5 others of exactly the same size (approx. 65536 bytes). Whats this? Does anybody know if this is the usual behaivour of the X2 Panel Manager or is there something wrong?
can you tell me where you found the entries you had to edit for the mailproblem?

did you kill the process first then install the new panel manager ? cause first time i didn't and had same problems and i needed to hard reset to return it back to normal ! i have r3a uk rom, notice if you instal the video driver probably you can't lock your phone via windows mobile original lock so don't set a lock on it, try s2u2 it will give you a good lock ;)

Thanks for your hard work!

I've encountered a X2 Dialer problem.

I don't know if anyone said this. If I install X2 dialer I can't see the bluetooth icon and the battery seems to be full all the time, and some icons are replaced with stock ones.

I'm using a 6.5.3 ROM.

Hope somebody will resolve this problem and that with no numeric keypad for 6.5.x versions :p. I don't know but maybe the Blackstone dialer had the same issue, and some smart guys put that numeric pad button in the middle that doesn't look like it was there, because is on top of softkeys. Maybe this will solve dialpad for 6.5.x versions.

Cheers!

I hope so as well!
Hoepfully one of or great modders, Ethermind, Gtrab and so on can do this.
I went back to a 6.1 ROM for awhile, but it was like going back to winmo 5...lol...loving my 6.5!
Hoping we can get this gorgeous X2 dialer working clean on winmo 6.5.3!

Like I wrote before: You have to perform a registry search for the keys affiliated to slideview.exe (keyword slideview). You will find several keys that should direct to the path where slideview.exe is installed. You have to adapt the registry keys found so they point to the right path.

I did find them... well... 1 at least...
but when I redirect to \windows\tmail.exe it still does nothing...

I thought that too until I realised that it (the x2 panel manager) kills the media xperience panel. I wanted to watch a movie and always after 30 seconds or something the panel crashed and I had to reload it to continue watching. So I went back to the original X1 panel manager.
sorry for interupting! are you sure? cause mine happend right after i installed the video driver before i had the panel manager and it was working fine !!

I don't know what's going on with your system but for me it was exactly as I described it. I istalled X2 panel manager and used it a few days. I did not install any drivers. Then I prepared for a long journey by train and encoded some movies. I tested them and lo and behold the media xperience panel crashed every 30 seconds. I reverted to the original panel manager and everything was fine again.
P.S. I'm on a wm 6.1 R3A stock rom (Switzerland)

just copy the files RemDevMr.dll (there are many of them) into the windows root and you'll see the BT icon. These files can be found in the SEX2_RAW_Dump_R0.1.rar. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=585722

The dialer either joystick down or push on search.
