All seems to be good, i HAD to freeze the updater. That was causing conflict. And the reason mine is blue at the top, my phones theme, themes the market as well.
:) just so you dont think i moddified your work. Thanks for everything and look forward to the future. You guys are awesome

Edit: the white looks nice, and i hope it was alright to post a screen shot. I can take it down if needed

Edit: i had another FC. Hey fernando... do you know of another way i can get rid of previous data? Cant think of anything else to do. Ive gotten rid of caches, old data.. im at a loss again. Would you know if im able to go into the /datadata/com.android.vending. and delete the files in the cache folder? Not 100% sure since they are system caches. I would think they would just rebuild if i flash the theme again.

Edit: heres my issue. When i delete the shared_pref. Files the market works. When i update an app and after it installs the market FC'S

I want to add.... if for whatevr reason someone goes back to a nandroid backup.. and assuming its back to your stock market 2.3.6 ,then you flash the theme again. And you get.. com.android.vending force close. Check- datadata... find com.android.vending and then youll see a shared_pref. Folder. Delete the file inside and reflash the theme. This was the only way i could get the market to work. Even the stock market wouldnt work becouse those pref. Were saved from previous theme. Sorry this is long... and i hope this makes sense. I was having a heck of a time getting my market back and thats what did it for me.

I would start over. Delete the market. Clear all cache and reboot. Flash the stock then themed market

I tried just deleting and wiping but nothing worked. I just re-installed the rom fresh, flashed gapps, set it up then flashed the theme. Froze the updater and it seems to be back up and running. Ill be sure to make a backup of this one this time lol. Also i deleted the first part what i posted a post back as i dont wanna to give out false info. It infact didnt seem to work. Id like to figure out how to fix that instead of going back to an old backup or a fresh install though. Thanks for everything bro

Not to sound really stupid, but does this work for the opt v? I just read like 50 pages and got really bored, I tried flashing, but all of the zips just abort in recovery saying updater script is wiggin out or something similar.

I had that same issue before. I just figured it was either that the script was made for a different phone or because I am running a recovery designed by sdx.

I was on cwm 3. 2. 0. 0 but it just aborted, so I switched to the thunderc recovery (amon ra, or something like that) and that's when it gave me the updater script error and then aborted.

You may have to try the alternate way of installing it. I use root explorer and pull the app out of the zip file and put it in the system/app folder. I deleted my market updater long ago so no issues there.

Well I started pulling from the zips and installing that way, I got trans black Facebook, and the xda blue to install after a few tries, still not sure about how to install the market or the boot ani.

Edit: how is the blue xda suppose to look? I only have dark blue buttons minus the refresh and a few more buttons.

The theme that I was on was already blue, so it looked perfect. I didn't change everything because i already had most of it blue. I see now that it needs more work.
