where is it located? did you look for com.android.vending in data/app?

I see the stock apk in there. Just tried deleting iit and flashing the. Zip, rebooted and i have a blue icon but it doesn't open, still doesn't say transparent market under it.

you were silently updated. you need to follow the instructions in the op. deletethe market in data app. go into recovery. clear cache. flash the stock market in the op. open it. then flash the theme

ok try going into system/app and go to vending.apk. with root explorer long press on the app and change permissions. all three of the left row buttons should be checked

I've made it a point to just give you a thanks whenever I pass thru one of your threads. I never leave without some useful bit of knowledge. Oh and somewhat off topic, but I just realized this 4 minutes ago. NOT using the back button on your mouse? VERY IMPORTANT in the theme kitchen, lol. What a pain in the ass. Now I'm having to do it all over again. FML
They are, as well as the top center. Is that wrong? Should I remove the top center and reboot or rerun the apk install after?
Edit...well I tried reinstallation after removing the write check boxes check, failed. What have I done? This is crazy I messed this up. What else can I try bud?

I know I've seen older versions of the stock (inverted colors) sense messaging app...is this something that could be done with the new 3.0 messaging app? The bright white really bothers me
Its weird. I do that and the market is gone after I follow the removal steps, I can flash the stock one on fine, see the green icon, but when I flash the trans one over it, market vanishes.

@ OP your Transparent Gmail 2.3.5 seems to have fixed the issue with launcher pro and the new API in 2.3.5...
I had market 2.3.5 and unread and widget for LP + was not working checked his site and he explained it was because of some security update in 2.3.5 to the API. Well I installed you Trans Blue version and it started working... weird did you do something special or is it a fluke?
