Since the funds are beyond low, I used my allotment of 'Thanks' for you today.
Edit: I got it working, I 7-zipped into the flashable file, copied the .apk to my desktop, renamed and replaced, flashed and presto. I would have never guessed it would have been that easy, thanks for recommending to get a flashable zip with the same file name.

Well.........I spoke too soon. Facebook works, I can get into the black market but as for downloading anything, that does not work. If I reflash the market and wipe cache, will that help?
Ok, so o had to do a nandroid yesterday, and I reflashed the red market. had forecloses/ cleared market data. That got me in the market. Now if I click on "my apps" it starts foreclosing again. Amy ideas why.

Steelh I.2. I ended up reflashing my rom then the theme again and avoided any market themes until I had everything working. So far all is good. I have a few icons to replace and then do a band and lastly flash your market.

that happens on certain roms for some reason. i know people on this thread have dealt with that issue. i havnt. so your nandroid didnt have the themed red market?
All my nandroids had the themed market, but I lost most of my nands from prior to the new year when clockwork updated and quit working to flash with. So I changed to RA, but I have no idea when the market quit working. I figured best to start over.

No,i didn't have it on my backup. That's when I flashed it, and then the problems started. What's funny is, it was working fine on the same rom and everything else, but for some reason now it's not, and on occasion I get bootloops now. Battery pull usually fixes that though. ???? I love these themes and goodies, so I guess it's all trial, and error.. Wonder of I should try and reflash the red market. What do you think?? Thanks

Finally got this to work. I wanted to post and share how I did it. I tried all the methods I found on this thread. Nothing but fc"s it seemed like as soon as Gmail would auto sync after flashing it would force close. I did a fresh install after a full wipe. before I even logged into gmail for the first time, I flashed it. Then I opened the market works flawlessly at the moment. I'm running skyraider 3.5 with blue and black theme. Also I love this market. It brings more life to my phone. Great work.
Wiped, dalvik"i think that's how to spell it" wiped cache, and Reflashed. Still fc'ing. I really dont want to do a full wipe/install, so if we have no luck, how do I revert back to the stock market? Can I just restore a part of my nandroid?

What's wired is, unlike shawn328, the black/blue gmail works fine for me, and we are running the same rom.. ???? Who knows huh..
