skyraider hates this market lol. umm well i would just keep trying. have you cleared your dalvik and tried to flash? im not sure what market version you have. why dont you post it and i will resign the zip.
It's 2.2.7 and yes I cleared dalvik before flashing.. Off to bed. I'll check back tomorrow. Thank you for your time, and brains..

Ok wondering if anyone has any ideas on this- been trying to get this Market going since before Christmas, so any help is appreciated...
I can get the flashed Market to flash successfully either by 1) nandroiding back (my nandroid Market version is 1.82), wiping cache+dalvik, flashing the Market, wiping cache+dalvik again, and rebooting, or 2), flashing ThuggishSouljah's version over a stock 2.2.7 Market. But as soon as an app downloads and starts to install, it FC's.
I remember seeing this way back in the thread and I just don't remember if there was ever a resolution posted. There's just been so many variables, and dozens of possibilities to try- data/data, data/app, check system/app, nandroiding back, uninstalling back to an earlier version, wiping cache, using ThuggishSouljah's version, Myn's version, using the "fix" zip, etc. It's just so frustrating to be this close after so long, yet not having it work...

Right. Your version, the one that I could get to work (except for downloads) by flashing over a backup, is the dark_red_signed.zip

Basically yes. He just pulled Vending.apk out of an official signed 2.2.7 update and combined it with your mod.
It will flash and load fine but as soon as I download 1 app, it FCs on install, and then is in a constant FC. Tried clearing data+cache on Market, no-go..
Stock. Just have a couple of my own mods. Nothing to do with the Market though.
ThuggishSouljah's version works if I flash it over a silently updated stock Market. Yours works if I nandroid back (my backed-up version is 1.82, couldn't find a way to install the 2.12 apk to try that).

I must say the blue/black market it very sexy. Really like it. I removed data/app/ Com.android.vending-1 and tried both flashing over current Vending.apk and just removing it all together and after flashing. But the Market FC right away. I tried the MarketFix also and then it works until I try to download, then after that it keeps FC. I am using Bonsai 1.1.2 ROM and ext4 and cwm 2.5.1.2.
Played with the blue/black Gmail. That seemed to work fine, but a little hard on the eyes, so removed.
In case it helps I do have a different light blue themed Market (don't remember the link I got it from, think it was on the Mammon Thread) that seems to work fine. I don't like it as well as yours but it is working for me, so far absolutely no FC. I will attach it for you to look at. I deleted both the Vending.apk (named com.android.vending_2.2.7.apk on this ROM) and the data/app/ Com.android.vending-1 then just flashed it in cwm.
PS: I have no themes installed other than blue messaging app mod and custom boot animation. And as I stated above I am on the Bonsai 1.1.2 ROM, ext4
